Thanks for introducing me to that one, Wan; it's a good-un! :o

The war on drugs has never been won because it hasn't even started.

1. Execute all drug dealers.

2. Execute all drug smugglers.

3. Drug users - one strike & out i.e. one chance to beat their addiction & if they're caught again - execute them too.

If you haven't already guessed; I hate the drugs scene as a whole. :o

So you hate anyone who imbibes alcohol too then? :D

Alcohol is not an illegal narcotic, so that's another topic.

Its not currently illegal but it IS a dangerous drug. In fact more dangerous than many others. We are discussing the legality of drugs, whether they be illegal or legal, so respectfully, I don't see it as another topic.

We should examine all drugs, including those that are currently legal if nothing more than to see what serves as an acceptable benchmark in todays society.

Considering that most drugs were classified over 40 years ago (and that modern scientific capability has somewhat improved since then) better decisions can be reached when we take a fresh look at the classification of drugs, armed with the best information that modern science can provide.

Let science decide, not bureaucrats.

Well you're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree & I suspect when the OP started this topic, he was referring to the war on illegal narcotics as we know them - Im sure aspirin was the last thing on his mind.

If you do want to take a fresh look at the classification of all drugs; may I suggest it deserves its' own thread.

Much better just to stick to KO's love life IMHO.

It's way too late to try stuffing the genie back in the bottle, I'm afraid. I remember something that my dad said to me years ago that one day, all the sane, law-abiding types would be locked-up and the villains would all be running free. If you see some of the huge, gated developments in the Philippines where people can pretty much live their entire lives within the walls, it could be argued that those days have already arrived.
