Just Popped In For A Rant..

Featured Replies

Hewo, er..this is a bit random sorry..seeing as im never really in Bedlam much...

AnYwaY..Right... so i cant help myself. Its 1:13am and im heading for pms (ahh..ye olde female get-out-clause :D) but it really ticks me off the way people on TV sometimes jump..nay LEAP to conclusions. I read a lot of different posts and sometimes i think 'well..how in sweet potatoes name did that person fly off the handle over something so minuscule? :D

Actually..come to think of it..Its not really the fact that a person may misconstrue information they have read(due to another persons post (or word or two) being accidentally wrongly written and thus causing confusion)for in that case, of course information may come over in a different way than intended. (Are you following me? :D ) Its how some readers handle it. Rather than trying to clarify what they have read in a diplomatic manner to make sure they have read correctly, they make HUGEBLOODYBIGBOLLOCKINGSWEEPINGCOMMENTS based on some small error or mistype etc.

Bugger i feel a little irate... excuse me a sec whilst i bang my head on my desk a few times.......

...right ok..back.

So anyway, its not like im holier than thou or anything, i realise i make forum f....luff-ups also, but i would like to think im a tad more diplomatic before wagging my finger and doing the "shame on you" dance.

Would you believe this rant of mine is really over nothing much tbh...namely this thread: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?sh...p;#entry1988724

I can see where my wording may have given a wrong idea (namely that my friend borrowed another friends sons bike <--are you still following me? Are you sure? :D ), but bloody 'ell..wuts up with ppl that they cannot clarify or handle something in a more diplomatic manner..rather than being an eager forum preacher beaver..................???

I dunno but have you found this to be the case?.. or im i just having a bad day (actually it has been a bit of a long day..im ickle bit tired... :o )

OHhhh...but I feel SOOooooo much better now. :D

Note: feel free to rant at me, or rant about your rants, or..stuff....

I must say I am a little surprised at a couple of the posters, who are generally not so judgemental, unless I have missed some of their posts? however I thought it was worth a kick because I popped into CM forum the other day and an innocuous post turned into quite a nasty thread, for a minute I thought I was in General :o

When I want to liven things up, I know where to go.

Tally-Ho

I wonder if anyone will want to cross swords?

Moss

Yep eek, a valid rant. (BTW you should get into bedlam more often!) I often wonder why some threads go 'downhill' so quickly? It's going along nicely and then wham, some DH get's all aggressive and abusive...

It's a mad world and a mad forum!

Some people are just antagonistic by nature and it matters little what you type as they just read what they want to read anyway..... ignore them. they probably have few friends in the real world either (more probably run out of them completely, which is why they come here)

And even people that are normally fairly level headed can also have bad days.

aww... i just woke up and still feeling fuzzy then remembered i wrote this thread. Was preparing myself to read comments that im being a tad ridiculous. So, cheers for supportive comments! I guess its all part of what makes TV fun. Would be boring if things didnt rattle our cages from time to time. Im sure i do some rattling to others myself sometimes. :o

Sometimes I think that if leaping to conclusions was an Olympic sport ThaiVisa could put together a gold medal winning team without even trying. I guess we are all guilty of it to an extent but some seem to be professionals at it.

Last night when I read that udder post I was going to call the English Speaking number, but being a little pissed, did tink twice and did not call.

Just to cheer you up a bit. :D

Maybe next time "eek".

Kan Win :o

I love the word RANT - very onomatopoeical (i know i spelt it wrong).

I also love to rant and rant and rant and rant.

Right, ranting over.

Not sure this is the place for a rant. Was over on Nimmanhaeminda this afternoon and saw a sign "Townhouse For Rant". Might be just waht you're looking for.

Apologies if my comment on your bike thread helped to derail it. First thing that popped into my head. Should have kept my thoughts to myself. Good luck on the search.

Nooooo, not at all lannarebirth..your point was valid. Certainly not your fault. (Personally im not sure id want to rent a house "for rant", might end up becoming just that. Im sure it portends bad luck!)

Ah well, nothing like a good rant to get irritations off your back..glad others agree. :o

House for rant - short term letting a speciality! :o

Don't get me wrong Eek, but in re the rant (not the theft) isn't this a touch clouds and teacup stuff?

Dunno if you saw the original posts before they were deleted Ping. The link to the bike thread i made isnt really relevent anymore, mod tidied up the thread a lot.
