Nudist Rescued After Spike Fall

Featured Replies

A NUDIST fell down a slope and landed with a metal spike in his groin. Gavin Rigby, 34, was stuck for half an hour on the rusty prong, sticking out from the ground, until rescuers arrived.

Three fire crews turned up along with police and medics and he was lifted off the eight-inch spike.

He was taken to hospital with minor injuries — and discharged later.

Gavin, from Gosport, Hants, had tripped at Haslar Lake, where he was sunbathing with pals.

He said: "It went about three inches in. It was painful."

Friend Jon Bradshaw, 22, said: "It was quite a sight."
