I have a one year retired-visa, and I know when you have married a thai lady

then you must have a average monthly income of Bht 45,000.=,

but without a thai wife and as a single retired man a monthly income of Bht 65,000.=

This is when you support a Thai-Citizens in Thailand at the same home-address.,

including a home-registration (yellow book) for the retired foreigner.

My present situation is as follow…

I living in Thailand as a retired single parent.,together with my daughter (16).

My daughter is a Thai-Citizens, and living together with me at the same address.

She have a Thai I.D.Card.,Home-registration (blue-book), and she study in the secondary education M.4 (Thai Government School).

I have to take care my daughter for 100% by myself, and without wife / mother.

My question is as follow...

I have support also a Thai-Citizens here in Thailand and at the same home address!

Is for me standard the same…a average monthly income for me apply to… Bht 45,000.= monthly?

The requirement is 400,000 Baht in a Thai bank OR 40,000 Baht a month.

Is your name on her Birth Certificate? Did you register the birth?

Not really my thing and hopefully someone will come along soon with better information.

Retirement requirement is 65k monthly income and that does not change. Only if you change the reason for extension would the 40k amount be used. And then a different set of requirements would have to be met.

With retirement you can make up any shortfall in monthly income with bank deposit - as long as total is 800k or more.

I think that you will find that the requirements for a 'Dependents' visa are the same, regardless whether it is for a wife or child. Obviously you need to have the supporting evidence, i.e. you are named on your child's birth certificate, and I also believe that you can obtain this kind of visa until the child is 20 years.

It would be worthwhile visiting your local Immigration Office, perhaps on your next 90 day report, taking your daughter with you along with her paperwork, and just asking the questions. Your daughter is fluent in Thai (as may you be). Some Immigration Offices use different interpretations of the relevant laws, so best to check beforehand.

FYI:

2.18 In the case of a family member of a Thai (applicable only to parents, spouse, child, adopted child or child of his/her spouse):

Permission will be granted for a period of not more than 1 year at a time.

(1) The alien has obtained a temporary visa (NON-IM)

(2) Proof of family relationship

(3) In the case of a spouse, the marital relationship shall be de jure (legitimate) and de facto;

(4) In the case of a child, adopted child or child of his/her spouse, the said person must not be married, must be living with the family, and must be less than 20 years of age; or

(5) In the case of a parent, one of parents must have an average annual income of not less than 40,000 baht per month or a money deposit of not less than 400,000 baht for expenses within a year.

In other necessary circumstances, The Immigration Commissioner or Deputy of Immigration Commissioner may approve on case to case basis.

(6) In case of marriage with a Thai lady, the husband who is an alien must have an average annual income of not less than 40,000 baht per month or a money deposit in a local Thai bank of not less than 400,000 baht for the past 2 months for expenses within a year.

??? I don't know if #5 is referring to your parents or you as a parent. I am sure the immigration office will interpret it as you are a parent and requires 40K/400K.

2.22 In the case of a retiree: Permission will be granted for a period of not more than 1 year at a time.

(1) The alien has obtained a temporary visa (NON-IM);

(2) The applicant is 50 years of age or over;

(3) Proof of income of not less than Baht 65,000 per month; or

(4) Account deposit with a bank in Thailand of not less than 800,000 Baht as shown in the bank account for the past 3 months at the filing date of the application. For the first year, the applicant should have that amount in his bank account for not less than 60 days or

(5) Annual income plus bank account deposit totaling not less than Baht 800,000 as of the filing date of application

(6) For an alien who entered Thailand before October 21, 1998 and continuously allowed to stay in the Kingdom as a retiree, the following shall apply:

(a) He/she must be 60 years of age or over and has regular income. His/her bank account deposit shall not be less than Baht 200,000 a year and evidence of the account deposit for the previous 3 months must be shown; or he/she has a monthly income of not less than Baht 20,000.

(:) If he/she is under 60 years of age but not less than 55, the alien shall have regular income with a bank account deposit of not less than Baht 500,000 a year and evidence of the account deposit for the previous 3 months must be shown, or he/she has a monthly income of not less than 50,000 baht.

I appears that if you apply using 2.18 instead of 2.22 then the requirements for an income is 40K. Would someone please double check my logic?

That is correct, as long as you can demonstrate the relationship with a birth certificate.
