German Man Dies In Bed Watching Porn

PATTAYA: -- On Saturday a German man was found dead, lying on his bed in his room in North Pattaya. Police speculate he died from the excitement of watching a sex movie.

Pattaya, November 19, 2010, [PDN]: On 18th December 2010, Banglamung Deputy Police Investigator, Lieutenant Colonel Issaranuwat Jongapichaikul, received a report that a male tourist had been found dead in the Rattanasuk Inn hotel, Pattaya-Naklua road, Moo. 5. A police team was dispatched to investigate.

RIP. To prevent recurrance with other vulnerable men, it would have been useful to publish the title of this exciting dvd so others would be warned to keep away from it.

What a great epitaph, don't these papers ever think about the deceased family when they publish stuff like this

I think the obvious answer is no, or they could not care less.angry.gif

May even have planted the the "evidence" just to make a story.whistling.gif

Did anyone catch the title of the movie?

Does that matter?

I have made some crass jokes in my time here, but there are some things that deserve a level of dignity that apparently escapes some users and the gutter press.

So that was a "No" then ?

I do agree that it seems to be very difficult to die with any dignity in Pattaya.

agree 100%..................................................we also need to consider that a lot of posters here have nothing better to do than sit and read TV all day every day - a sad existence indeed, probably can't afford to do much else and just feed on others missfortunes

Well, of course they do (as do the police). Hence, the bullshit cover-story of "porn", so that the family doesn't have to know that it was a Pattaya hooker that rode this guy out of this plane of exsistance {and then understandably split, before the cops showed up}.. ;)

Please keep in mind that the family of the deceased might look for more information on the internet and read this thread. Let's not add to their grief.

Maybe TV ought to censer or not to repeat such undignified stories.

It happens all the time, all around the world, but in most countries the press refrain from publishing.

Edit in:

Maybe an obituary section where names, funereal details and friends can post nice remarks about the deceased.

He was supposedly watching a DVD film which lasts about 90 minutes, yet they found his body with the film still playing?

Typical finger-pointy-at-the-depraved-foreigner MO, and disgraceful intrusive journalism all round. Condolenses to this poor guy's friends and family.

:bah:

My condolences to the friends and family of the victim. It is not the manner of passing that makes the person, but the life they lived.

So: " Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone."

There are indeed some very special people here at Thai Visa  .

I am surprised that if the facts are as reported, that he died 6 hours prior to Police arrival, then how on earth was the pornographic video still playing? How long do these videos normally run for? Something isnt right here, perhaps its just the typical quality of the reporting here in los (ie: never let the truth stand in the way of a good story)

I had a similar problem up here, although not pornographic I only had about 6 movies so used to watch them over and over again until I knew all the words. Life in the fast lane, life in the sticks.

So it may have been on repeat.

What a sad way to die, watching porn in a city like Pattaya...

When it will happen to me, I'd like to die doing the real thing.

Yeah like, ewwwww . . . that's gross!

Every time the same thing. Some light hearted comments and many postings lambasting them for lack of respect for the dead.

I just wonder whether this is not all just a bit too prissy. I would like to think that my family and many others would not be so shocked and distressed in the unlikely event they were to come across such reactions to my demise in such slightly unusual circumstances. This is the 21st Century Thailand, not Victorian Christian England.

Seems like the dead are afforded way more respect than the living on TV.

Reporting at it's worst from the local gutter press.

Look up the word dignity and respect and see if it means anything which i doubt.

R.I.P.
