jonik
I am sure at least some of the people spending time at this forum have some kind of cool rides in thailand ,so why do you not have a motor/tuning forum in this Thai visa Forum. I have read about at least some tuned car for sale trough the saleforum. Is there another forum to visit for this in thailand.(not that i not like this forum) I have meet a lot of thai engineheads during my stays in thailand so there must be some farrangs doing this to. EVO
Nice Cozzie Janik. Shame theres no petrolheads forum. rcalsop
The idea of a motoring /motor diy forum is great and I would enjoy reading and sharing info from better travel routes with the road works to car purchase /diy/ dealership comments etc ...but perhaps not the subject is not about visas, teaching , bar girls , insurance, or it may be the demographics of the aging population of TV mean no interest . as such a forum on Viagra and zimmer frames would be more popular . taxexile
its a buick roadmaster , 56 or 57. i love the look of 50's and 60's american cars. they are so jaw droppingly flamboyant and confident , as cars , they were unfortunately total crap , but as pieces of sculpture , they were as valid as anything in any dusty museum in london , paris or rome. design wise , imho todays stuff doesnt even come close. george
Ok, we will do a motor forum, and break out the Real Estate and housing to a new forum branch. What title do you want on the Motor Forum? Just "Motor Forum" or maybe "Cars, motors and other strange vehicles in Thailand" (too long). Maybe "Thailand Motor Forum". I was thinking that we could have our sponsor Khun Andy from http://www.expatmotors.co.th beeing the boss for it here... Andy, are you here? Like to publish the second hand car of the day here? Or the wreck of the week? Or why you don't want to buy a second hand from K. Somchai?

It,s the ford way of making big power. It probably took 1 guy 1 weekend to come up with it. Along with some cold friends. Talk about performance. EVO
Everybody claiming that the <snip> page is very quiet. It allways will be if we dont start posting in it! That site in itself could prove great for all those interested in motors in Thailand, but unless we utilise it its gotta end up going under sooner or later. //Edit: Don't give links to other forums on this site. Tywais
This is the first new car I ever bought. A Mercury Cyclone Spoiler with a 429 cubic inch (7000cc) Cobra Jet engine rated at 370 HP. Had 4-speed Hurst power shifter, anti-slip differential. Fastest I got it up to was near 300kph. One of the last American muscle cars built, and the sound of the engine was awsome. At that speed the spoiler actually worked as I could feel the rear end pressing down on curves.
