Hi anyone got any good ideas about how I can remove the exhausts tips as I have ordered some baffles to try and quite down the V&H pipes a bit as they are just to loud. When I put the tips on they were a really tight fit so I hammered them on with a bit of wood but they will have to come off to fit the baffles in

I thought about getting the pipes hot and using a wet rag try and cool the exhausts tip and then try and remove them

Any one got any ideas

A sliding hammer and a hair dryer could do the trick.

Just don't forget to give it back

Depends on how hard you hammered them in though...I used to use chicken wire scrunched up but I was young then and it didn't really make any difference.

Big hammer Big wood two blokes will not come out easy

I guess I could leave them on and grind the baffle down a bit and get a Big hammer and Big wood again

It would be a good idea to leave them alone. That way you avoid having old farts throwing rocks at you.
