Penangfreak
Hi all: Can anybody recommend a good Pizza place near Bangla/Patong please? I actually prefer the american style as Dominos / Little Cesars, but can live with a nice thin crust Italian too. Thank you very much.
NomadJoe
Pizza Company on Bangla and Pizza Hut in Jungcylon are more or less American style. All others are thin Italian style. Edited September 8, 2012 by NomadJoe
LivinginKata
Yes, Pizza Co on Bangla and Wood fired Pizza on San Sabai (top of Bangla and over the road) would be my recommendations.

petercallen
I have yet to find a good pizza place here, In Australia 95% of pizzas are take away and the best there IMO is domino's who do them in thin and thick crusts, a large pizza with plenty of toppings costs about 200 baht
xylophone
La Cappanina at the end of Soi Nanai 2 has the best thin crust Italian pizzas in town...........a bit far from Bangla, but well worth the effort.

They are invariably small and cardboard thin (and cardboard tasting at times), skimpy with the sauce, skimpier with the toppings, and skimpiest with the cheese. And for that you'll pay ฿250 and up for one, and I can easily eat two of them myself.
KarenBravo
Pizzeria Hut 1 in Soi Sansabai at the Bangla end. Personally, my favourite pizza in Phuket. Great crispy crust with loads of topping.

madmitch
Pizza Company overpriced and not particularly good but for American style pizza you are limited.

LivinginKata
Pizzeria Hut 1 in Soi Sansabai at the Bangla end. Personally, my favourite pizza in Phuket. Great crispy crust with loads of topping. I incorrectly called it 'wood fired pizza' in an earlier post. Yes, it's Pizzeria Hut 1.
NamKangMan
Pizzeria Hut 1 in Soi Sansabai at the Bangla end. Personally, my favourite pizza in Phuket. Great crispy crust with loads of topping. This place gets my vote as well KB. I also like how they serve the pizza on a round wooden board and their wine is reasonably priced, by Thai standards. A very nice Thai couple. I remember the days they were located in an open plan 'stall' on 200 year road/Rat-u-tit, but had to relocate when Jungceylon was planned. Long before Pizza Hut days. I used to sit at the counter and watch then making the pizzas.
KarenBravo
The Thai bloke who started and owns Pizzeria Hut 1 (yes, I remember when it was an open air "island" restaurant) worked at a 5-star hotel in the Gulf as a chef for twenty years, so, he knows his onions. Maybe even start a new thread where members can upload any old pics.
