I hope your right but, given it's a farang on farang crime, I don't think Thailand wants to house the scumbag any longer than necessary to make it appear that they did their due diligence.

I'm afraid the court will overlook the clear premeditation in this crime and give him 10-15 years. Subtract time served up to sentencing and he will have 5-10 years left. He serves half and is quietly deported back to Birmingham where he will be bragging of his exploits in the pubs there by the time he's 35.
