Hairs On My Back

Featured Replies

I'm lucky in that they are blond, but definitely getting more.

Question to Sheryl or any other knowledgeable people here, if I use tape, to sort of throw back there and yank them out, will they grow back thicker?

Don't want to turn a minor deal into, some sort of Borat hairy repercussion.....

Truth is that it would appear that they come back thicker and with more. This is because that is quite normal as a person gets older. My back hair started in my early 20s in a couple of small patches. My wife now has a full deforestation task each month....I was 39 on Tuesday. Just wonder what will happen by the time I'm 60!

You were saying.. last time i did that I waited to long.. ouch... and it was upper back / shoulders. Though if you do it regularly its not a problem.

Here we have them doing it in the Big C they sell you a pot of wax that gets your name on it and then you pay a little for the strips and such when they wax you.

That's true the more you do it the less painful it is, even more painful areas like lower back.

BTW, unless you are a serious masochist, don't try waxing the chest area! w00t.gif

I have never had any back hair and am mid fifties. Reckon if I did I would wax. Have chest hair but I quite like the chest hair but I am not a fan of back hair.

The ladies asked if i wanted to wax there too.. they wanted to make a bit of extra money.. I politely declined.

Come on now, man up boys. A small or moderate amount of back hair ain't bad at all. Gorilla amounts, yes, please do take action or keep on that shirt!

My mrs whizzes over my back every few weeks with my beard trimmer. Unfortunately it gets worse with age. sad.png

Girls love my hairy back, they think I'm a squirrel. Heck, they even play with my nuts.

Men waxing? Really?

Is your cave air conditioned?

No, AC is gay. laugh.png

Don't worry. Nobody is going to make you marry your waxing man.

I should hope not, don't believe in gay marriage, why spoil a good no strings attached bum?

I know we're joking around here, but it is truth that cosmetic things like hair waxing are a taboo for many men.

Agreed, I would consider trimming to keep from disappearing, but waxing snd shaving would be taking it too far for me.

Why ? I even put on some creme and stuff to make sure i age gracefully. Nothing wrong with taking care of yourself.. i workout a lot so why not take care of the rest of my body.

I wax ... usually before I leave home ... bout twice a year.

I hate back hair and JT is right ... the lower back, round the kidney/liver areas hurt the most.

If you have black hair then you can get electrolysis, but for some reason, that doesn't work on lighter coloured or blond hair.

Funny what we discuss with complete strangers!

Waxing takes out the root. Surely that's only a couple of weeks advantage to shaving at the most, depending on how fast your hair grows?

Got it, thanks everyone.

I think I'll just stick with tossing some duct tape back there and yanking them out.

Waxing is a little over the top,,,, for me anyway. Cheers GOM

GOM

what you are describing is the same as waxing...

waxing is nothing more as putting some adhesive (wax) on your back and then some cloth to and then yank it off.. same as your duct tape but probably more efficient.

I am sure it would be more efficient, but could remove the top-layer of the skin all together or its adhesive agent could cause serious irritation.

If its a veritable forest back there you can get it lasered - not cheap - a mate had his done for about 50,000 all in, i think - had to go about 4 or 5 times but he says its never come back since. Maybe that's a bit OTT for most of us lads! :-)

It may be cheaper to spend 2 weeks holidaying at the beach near Fukushima.
