Online passport issuing service suspended – again

Online passport issuing service suspended

The Sunday Nation

The online passport issuing service has been closed again following Friday's confrontation between anti-government protesters and police at the government complex on Chaeng Wattana Road.
The service resumed nationwide last Monday after talks with protesters allowed officials to access the office at the complex to run the central server.
But the service was suspended again on Friday as a precaution for staff safety, Consular Department director general Thongchai Chasawat said yesterday.
As a result, Thongchai said the number of passports issued would be reduced as the required information could not be linked to the central server and passport printing would have to be done by back-up devices. The service will issue a new update on the situation today at www.consular.go.th.

Your post is a bit off topic. They can still issue passports that has not been affected by the servers mentioned being down.

The link http://www.ufida.co.th/startpage.htm is for making appointments for passport applications at the Esplanade office only.
