Hi Benyamins,

Don't get upset with answers you get on this forum.

Take it easy, ignore what you don't want to hear and answer what you think is sensible.

I was like you, getting upset too easily, but eventually I learned my lesson.

Now, have you found a kebab shop?

And if yes, where?

I'm dying for a kebab.

Don't know what binthabath is, can you explain?

Want to welcome you to the forum and wish you good Luck.

I just googled "beef kebab on binthabath" and was brought straight back to this thread. Maybe you could explain <deleted> you're on about.

But people keep telling me " Google is your friend " ? wub.png

As said he is asking about a place in Hua Hin that sells kebabs on a well known street of ill repute whistling.gif

Maybe you need to let Google know about it rolleyes.gif

The one on Bintabaht that opened last week came about because a Bkk franchise (My Kebap - yes, Kebap) opened outside Stone Bar on Poonsuk 2 months ago and the owner of the new one decided to copy the idea although as it's not the same name probably done it without paying the franchise fee or using the same ingredients, sauces etc.

The chicken kebab outside Stone Bar is excellent.

I know it's a Saturday night, and you guys might have had a few beers, but please try to keep the insults/trolling to a minimum :)

I wish there was a real kebab, gyro, donair, shawarma whatever you want to call it. Made with spiced beef/veal that would hit the spot on some soft pita bread topped with tzatziki made from Greek yoghurt. Damn I'm drooling! anyway I have tried a few in Hua Hin but none have been worth a repeat visit sadly.

i tried the other kebab for some months ago, that was awful..

What other kebab ?

Not sure how chicken in pitta bread can taste awful ?

The problem with using beef or lamb it is expensive for good quality and if a beef kebab is around 70 or 80 baht it will be cheap Thai beef and very chewy.

some months ago I tried one with beef at bintha, now they got a good beef, and they charge 160 for one kebab, and actually get a nice quality.. and a quite big portion. can be expensive, but I am ok to pay 160, if the quality is good..

How about if the sauce they used was actually made from dried dog <deleted> ?

Well I tried the one near Stone Bar the other day for 50 baht, and it was certainly nothing to write home about. In Chiangmai A few weeks ago I had an amazing kebab, which was located near one of the popular farang bar areas inside the city walls. Can't remember the name. Anyway, the market village ones are ok but hua hin is still lacking a proper kebab shop. There's a small one in soi 80 but every time I've been past there's no meat on the rotating thing so not really sure if they actually sell them. I'd love a kebab on the way home instead of Burger King :-)

I have been to Chiang Mai recently also, I think the area you are thinking of is the Zoe Bar complex?

I cannot comment on the Hua Hin Kebab scene though - but if Binterburger ever decides to bring back its short lived Philly Cheese Steak sub, then I recommend this 100%
