Bladdy good player Bob, Liverpool seems tailor made for him IMO.

Bite the bullet before someone else nips in and recoup some of the money from your on loan players. thumbsup.gif

But better have enough in the till for one, or two, CBs.thumbsup.gif

Agreed, but TBH I never ever thought Lallana could be bought for less than 25 mil.

Now Saints seem willing to sell and lose their manager, I think one or two other clubs might come sniffing.

Had him in my FF team all year, pleasure to watch. It just seems a lot off the bat, like jelly says as long as we have enough for a couple meat and potatoes CBs.

It's almost worth buying a club like bournemouth if you can sell on talent for that sort of fee, jesus..

Calm down and give me a recommendation for a good real ale bar in Edinburgh Smokie.

Staying just off the Grassmarket with teelak and rugrat, so must be walkable - I'll wait till they go to sleep which will be about 9pm! we got a great run down on the apartment and locale from one of the staff - Ann asked me afterwards whether he was speaking English as she couldn't understand a word*. Luckily I received annual training form a very early age (actually, he was talking pure camp Corstorphine). Can't wait for her reaction to her first Glaswegian.

She's told all her Facebook mates she's staying in a big lovely city called Scotland! My geographical explanations aren't working.

Just driving through the place, which I haven't returned to for 20 years (since I helped Maggie privatise the Port - sorry Stevie!), I can tell it really rocks.

26 years old mind, and pretty much the new kid on the block. Took a while to get motoring.

Dunno. 30mil sounds like a lot.

Shaw 18, entirely different proposition.

It's been many a year but I seem to remember Rose Street being brilliant for a bevvy or 9. Don't know how far from Grassmarket it is though.

^ He is mate, and wants to come back (preferring LFC to Napoli). not sure if Rodgers is too keen though.

He's still a monster. Has been wasted at Barca to some degree at CB. Hard to beat out Busquets plus the CB position at Barca has been a mess.

Wenger ought to take a look as well.

if he is available we should be all over it.

here's a little snippet for you stevie

ROY HODGSON could force Adam Lallana to sign for Liverpool early - to avoid him being distracted at the World Cup.

The England boss has warned his players the World Cup camp will be a transfer no-go zone.

He's banned agents from the tournament base in Rio and the two warm-up camps in Portugal and Miami.

There will be no allowance for players to become involved in talks no matter how big a move may be.

he'd be ideal for our squad right now. could both assist gerrard and play that role against lower sides when we want to give gerrard a rest too. get the feeling brendan isn't one for going back though.

Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claimed that Inter Milan would plunge into the transfer market with deep pockets capable of capturing a big name signing. Sources say they are planning a stunning swoop for either Manchester City's Alvaro Negredo or Tottenham's Roberto Soldado

our source went on to say that hodgson plans to take all mobile phones off squad members and restrict internet access to ten minutes a day per player and only then through the one approved PC in the hotel business centre. roy has also put a BLOCK on all fax machines in player hotel rooms and plans to sit on his balcony with an air rifle to TARGET what he believes to be the latest in cutting edge interpersonal communications, the carrier pigeon. "they'll have to get up pretty early in the morning to get one over on me", said hodgson.

I get the impression that the new Indonesian owner at Inter is calling the shots without much input from the right football people. Inter was also linked recently with Torres.blink.png

Not much of a "stunning swoop" is it to land Soldado after the season he's just had!!

His value has probably dropped somewhat

Its not as bad as it could be because a very sizeable chunk of the original transfer was based on add ons.

Read in The Guardian that Van Gaal has approved Shaw and also wants Robben at OT. Apparently he is a big fan of his inward dive in the open pike position, with a 3.2 degree of difficulty.
