This article is pathetic. Yesterday the police claim its media tips and social networking that is hindering their investigation. Now they say its helped them.

They claim to be looking for people during 2-4am yet the coroner said no time of death could be made since they froze the bodies prior to the autopsy.

Police blame social media, yet they post photos on facebook showing the entire crime scene? So how can they question a suspect knowing thousands know exactly how the crime scene looked? Those police need to be fired. I don't put that down to police having a 'cunning plan' to derail the investigation. It's just plain stupidity.

Good reasons to boycott the island -

Islanders, and Thais in general, prefer to 'show' than they did their best, but in reality are trying to protect their tourism industry. They don't give a damn about tourists.

There are multiple murderers roaming the island/s. I certainly won't ever be going there until the authorities show some sincerity in catching the killers. Hit them where it hurts... in the pocket!

There's as much chance that "Koh Tao murder probe 85% complete" means just that as there is that they have inserted some kind of confession-extraction torture device 85% of the way in.

The killers will be found soon and put into custody. We are 10% away from being 100% done with the investigation. If all society works together we will definitely solve this crime. We are 90% done by solving this crime, thankfully. There are as of today no suspects and most evidence has been corrupted. We have taken the proper steps to ensure that a killer will be arrested by the end of the month we believe. We can now be peaceful with this revelation. Remain vigiliant. Agree with you, but the police aren't exactly making it better with their stupid statements, postings of the victims on their FB pages or their refusal to accept outside help.
