January 23, 201610 yr Had 5 hours of solid rain early Friday morning here in Loei and a little this morning. The temperatures have seen me now using a doona and, on occasions, long woolen pj's. Must be old age setting in. Has got down to as low as 12 degrees over the past month but quite warm during the day. makes for enjoyable living.

Daytime highs of 26-30 for next few days, back up to 35 by Friday. Enjoy it while it lasts !

January 24, 201610 yr 8 degrees in Udon, and a wind chill factor makes it colder. No windows in front or back (installing new ones tuesday) guess I will go out for a warm"er" beer
