hi there

currently I subscribe above services via 3 individual subscriptions, I paid almost double than some all-in-one packages.  click into the True website but I really can't understand ( see link below ) :

http://trueonline.truecorp.co.th/product-service/super-fiber/entry/5349#info

will be nice if anyone find an English page, or tell me what they are, especially the 799 or 899 packages, or the 999 /1299 packages.

thanks and cheers

First column should be clear.

Fibre internet with 30/10 or 50/20 Mbit/s (download/upload).

Second column:

Some "ENJOY" TV package with 97 channels, 5 HD channels

Until 31 May 2017 there is free "Bein Sports" package included.

Third column is mobile.

500 MB internet package incl. (per month)

100 minutes calls.

10 hours of WiFi access

Special offer (for 12 months?): 4 GB of internet.

What the 1 GB thing is: I don't know.

There is a lot of fine print at the bottom which might lower the attraction.

Also this "ENJOY" TV package might not be what you desire.

Scroll down to see the prices with the "real" package (Gold HD), 2600 to 3000 Baht.

More internet etc.

Small correction....the website said 4G; not 4GB.  It's saying as a Special upgrade for 12 months your get 1GB per month of 4G speed versus the normal 500MB/mo of 3G speed.

I cancelled my True package. The service was bad and internet poor. I use iLikeHD for my tv needs, 3bb for my fiber and ais for my cell phone service. Dump True ASAP!

The thing about these combo internet/TV/mobile phone packages is all your eggs are in one basket.   Say the mobile service is unsatisfactory you can't easily just drop that one service from the package deal and get the same discount especially during your 12 month contract period....after the 12 month contract period there may be a little more flexibility.    Or say the internet service is unsatisfactory, you can't just drop that from the package and take only the TV and phone.    Etc...etc...etc.

And you also lose flexibility in maybe wanting to switch to another provider of a certain service, like wanting to switch say to AIS or 3BB or whoever Fibre (if available to you) for your internet service while keeping the True TV and mobile services under the True Combo plan.   Or you could always still switch and pay both True and the other internet provider for two internet services although you would most like only use one on a day to day basis....and lose the cost savings you were after.

Additionally, the Enjoy TV package that comes with the True Combo lower cost plans is basically Thai language TV (programming that is free-to-air) and to get a TV package that includes significant English language programming like the Gold or better yet Platinum package you have to pay more to upgrade the combo package.

And I think even though signing up for a combo package you still get three separate bills from TrueOnline (Internet), TrueVisions (TV) and TrueMove (mobile) according to a TV member's post I saw a few months ago.

I've been a True customer in one form or another for over eight years now, but never under one of their current combo package.  When I first arrived Thailand I signed up for TrueVisons Platinum TV which came with a mobile number also (call that a 2 combo package)....I got separate bills from TrueVisions and TrueMove.  Well, I actually one got one bill/the first bill from TrueMove and they never could seem to find my mailbox again although the TrueVisions bill with the exact same address continues to easily find my mailbox to this day.  After X-mouths of always having to go to a True Service center to find out what my TrueMove monthly mobile bill was and to pay it, I cancelled after six months....been with DTAC ever since and their bill has had not problem in finding my mailbox every month. Basically, TrueVisions, TrueOnline, and TrueMove operate as three separate business units under the True parent name.

I was also on a standalone TrueOnline cable/DOCSIS 15Mb or 200Mb internet plan for 5 years.    Service and reliability was just fine, however, only up to a few months did their "over" 30Mb speed  plans become price competitive.  That is three or more fold more costly than similar speed AIS and 3BB fiber plans that have came out over the last year.  This competition finally forced True to drop prices for its "over" 30Mb speed plans way, way down....down by around 3 fold to stem the loss of customers to AIS and 3BB.  However, they did  their price drop several months after I switched to AIS Fibre and I've been happy with AIS Fibre.  In fact, I have already ordered upgraded of my AIS Fibre 50/10 plan to a 100/10 plan since just last week AIS came out with a new 100/10 plan  at a very good price and I quickly ordered the upgrade to begin on the start of my next monthly billing cycle ...just an example of flexibility of having a standalone, separate plan.

So, the True Combo packages may or may not be a good deal depending on the level of service and flexibility....a lot depends on the individual's wants and what other service providers are available.   But the True combo plans do catch your eye price-wise and I'm sure are good deals for some folks.   Yea, combo plans have their pros and cons, but can be good deals for many.

For me the True package deal is quite good considering we want to keep our TV gold package. We got a SIM card too in the deal which I use in the 2nd SIM card slot in my smart phone so I can access I-net on the go if needed. The 50/20 is okay most of the time so far. I think we pay 2200 or 2400 per month which is okay, all things considered.

I just moved to a condo, so had to drop True, but for the past year I was on a True combo package with 30/3 DOCSIS internet, a cable TV package, and a mobile phone package with only one bill for B899/month.

Granted, sometimes it seems inconsistency is the only consistent thing, so it's entirely possible that some True packages are billed separately?

True must have finally reached the point of being able to provide a consolidated bill....that's good.   But I do remember the poster who made the comments around 6 months ago was one our very creditable posters.   And when I was on a combo plan for TV and mobile I got two bills from True but that was years ago.   Generally, combo deals are good deals compared to separate deals (I sound like Donald Trump using the "deal" word so much).....a person just needs to ponder the pros and cons of combo deals.

thanks folks !  it seems to be a balance between flexibility <> quality <> cost !!

currently I pay THB799 per month on TrueOnline 30/10MB, THB1,500 x12 months on TrueVision Gold ( but our TV is on only 3 evening a week ), and x2 TrueMove SIM at THB1,000 per month.  it sums up THB3,300.  IF the combo package provides similar services ( quality ) with less flexibility, I may able to work with it.

I considered Netflix and completely switch off TrueVision, or go for 2-in-2 combo package.  but my wife is not comfortable with the screen operation on a android box then TV operation.

That's the main reason we keep the TV from True, my wife is not interested in computers/smartphones/TV boxes and all that stuff and I am gone app 6 month per year for overseas work.

She want to switch on the TV +True receiver box and watch TV, no more, no less.

She got her first smartphone app 1year ago and are now on FB but spend tops 30 min on it per day.
