Much to my disappointment , Trump will never see a day in Jail.

If the evidence amount to criminal prosecution, Trump will resign ans his successor will  pardon him stating that the country needs to heal and that , to put the country through the protracted  court proceedings and appeals would be counterproductive and damaging, bla bla bla.

and they might be right.

People would be so happy to see him go they would accept anything, Hopefully Pence will go with him.

That's probable, but it is likely that some of his cronies will go to jail including his dim-witted offspring and that prick Kushner.

But you wonder why Trump himself wasn't jailed for that $25 million fraud, Trump University?

There's no wonder.

Republican attorney generals for Florida and Texas declined to pursue lawsuits against the defunct Trump University; hence no fraud charges. Why?

So, Texas and Florida are swamps of corruption, but why didn't NYAG Scheiderman go for a criminal prosecution?  It was his civil prosecution that led to the $25 million in compensation.

Maybe a matter of priorities.

Use the threat of criminal fraud to successfully get an agreement on civil fraud lawsuit. Florida and Texas AG's didn't have the same leverage (by design?) because they dropped the civil fraud lawsuits.

But Scheiderman isn't done with Trump yet. Robert Mueller recently formed an alliance with Scheiderman to investigate (money laundering?) Trump Organization’s business transactions in New York and have access to Scheiderman's collection of evidence. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2017/08/trump-robert-mueller-eric-schneiderman

why would they need to accept "Hillary or any of her ilk" if djt is booted ? The White House gardener is closer in the succession than "Hillary and any of her ilk"

When Trump is out of the picture, I'll be glad—grateful even—to stop talking about him. Strangely, some folks hang on to "Hillary and her ilk" like it's some kind of hate jackoff porn.

I've met divorced men who, when they can no longer justify their patheticly lonely bachelorhood, comfort themselves with, "I'm still better of without that b!tch"

Meanwhile, that "b!tch" is busy dating nicer guys.

Something like that—I'm not good with analogies.

White House communications director Hope Hicks retains lawyer in Russia probe

"Hicks, 28, has hired Robert Trout, a highly regarded attorney and founder of the firm Trout Cacheris & Janis, according to multiple sources familiar with the hire."

"The Washington Post on Friday reported that Hicks is one of six White House aides that special counsel Robert Mueller is expected to interview — aides who his team believes were potentially witnesses to relevant moments in the ongoing Russia investigation."

"People close to the White House described Hicks as someone who has a full understanding of her exposure — at least as a witness — given her proximity to the 2016 campaign and her trusted status as an inner-circle confidante of the president and his family."

Haven't seen so much lawyering up since Reagan.

Well, it's obvious that they are not going to accept Hillary Clinton or any her ilk so dream on with regard to DJT getting booted from office! 555

Since when has the availability of Clinton or her 'ilk', been the pre-requisite of removing a criminal from office. Boy you set your bar so low. Your hatred for Clinton has now actually led you to the full acceptance of a criminal and traitor in holding the highest political office in the land, neigh the world. What a shameful indictment on your respect for your country.

I could never have been called to the bar or been a senior partner in a top end law firm as I was born to a family with a completely normal surname.

Document details scrapped deal for Trump Tower Moscow

"Around the time presidential candidate Donald Trump was touting his real estate dealings at a Republican primary debate, a proposal was in the works to build a Trump Tower in Russia that would have given his company a $4 million upfront fee, no upfront costs, a percentage of the sales, and control over marketing and design."

"An internal Trump Organization document from October 2015, obtained by CNN on Thursday, reveals the details of a 17-page letter of intent that set the stage for Trump's attorney to negotiate a promising branding venture for Trump condominiums, a hotel and commercial property in the heart of Moscow."

"While the potential Russian deal was still on the table, Trump was speaking positively about working with Russian President Vladimir Putin and also minimized Russia's aggressive military moves around the world."

you mean because of the effects of his intrastructure bill?

or because ofthe effects of his tax reform bill?

or because of the fact that's he happens to be President of the United States during a period of economic expansion that began about 7 years ago?

Trump Lied On Candidate Disclosure Form

Recently it has just been discovered that Trump, in an effort to show the world how rich he is, valued one of his properties at “more than $50 million,” yet his attorneys, for tax purposes, tried to argue that it is really only worth $1.35 million. The property in question, The Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, New York, is a sprawling 147-acre private club with manicured lawns, stone bridges, and has a 101-foot waterfall.

Here’s what we know: Trump bought the property for $8 million in a foreclosure sale and then immediately spent $45 million to build an 18-hole golf course, as well as a  75,000-square-foot clubhouse. Those improvements are quite substantial. That begs the question then, how on earth would Trump’s tax assessment decrease from the purchase price even with all of those upgrades?

creating jobs for Americee

Job creation in May was strongly titled to part-time, which gained 393,000 positions, while full-time fell by 54,000. Not surprisingly, the biggest driver of jobs growth was the hospitality industry where one finds low-income employment.

And I might add, hospitality jobs dependent on immigrants.

Maybe he means all the mediocre comedian jobs Trump is creating. Comedians who couldn't get a laugh, hence no jobs, can now get a laugh, hence jobs, just by saying "Trump"

This seems to be the main reason trumpists still support 45. To mock the majority of Americans that think he's horrible.

The town’s 2014 estimate was that the property was worth at least $14.3 million. Trump’s attorneys then revised their estimate to $9 million. The issue hasn't been settled but seems Trump made a substantial "understatement" of value.

Just a note about the $50 million investment. If it was 100% borrowed, only paid principle adds to value of the property by the cost method.

After seven months of blundering, buffoonery and do-nothing, simply keeping the job is now counted by his supporters as an "achievement" and by his detractors as an inexplicable peculiarity.

The clown potus being elected revealing the UGLY side of America ... to Americans. For those that didn't already know. An interesting perspective from an EXPAT.

Again, thank goodness (or God if you're into that kind of thing) for the Washington Post, the New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, etc.

Trump is making Americans see the U.S. the way the rest of the world already did

...
Trump has looked out of place as a world leader because he is a television personality, not a politician. He is also the crudest manifestation of some very American traits: recklessness, nationalism, contempt for history, an inability (if not utter disinclination) to inhabit a foreigner’s experience. Never before has it been so clear that Americans’ identities — their confidence and happiness — are tied to the supposedly exalted status of their nation, and of the man or woman who leads it. Trump may contradict everything many of us believe about ourselves, but the first question we might ask is whether what we believe is true.
