RAYONG: -- A 60 year old man was arrested in Rayong yesterday for raping his 9 year old step granddaughter.

He often gave her 20 baht to keep quiet.

"Pong" was caught rubbing his private parts against the victim who had her skirt raised in a hut in a field.

Earlier "Bow's" grandmother had reported to a policeman at a sub-station in Map Tong.

Pong was taken to Tha Kham police station where he said that he had got randy after drinking alcoholic spirits mixed with black galingale.

But the victim said this was not the first time she had been attacked.

She told police that Pong had raped her many times. He told her not to tell anyone and bought her silence for 20 baht on occasion.

The grandmother said she had been living with the suspect for ten years.

Thai Rath did not explain their picture but Thaivisa notes it appears to show the suspect with a male stand-in for the female victim doing a reenactment of the crime.

Well done Grandma, for shopping that disgusting piece of excrement.

A lot of wives would have tried to protect the husband, or even turned a blind eye.

Why not let him loose with a dozen mothers? problem would have been solved quickly.

Well done Gran for choosing the girls side !

"Well done"? You realize he has probably been raping the girl for years while Gran only recently got fed up with it right? If it's revealed she knew Gran should be charged also.

another sick/vile/evil barstewart, and as its been going on for quite awhile WHERE IS THE PARENTS.

Parents usually either working away, estranged, divorced, locked up, or druggies / alcoholics. Basically, your average nuclear Thai family unit.

Hopefully "Grandad"  will go away for a long time, or permanently as he is now a threat to his wife as well.
