CityNews – The actual royal funeral ceremony for His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej will be held on October 26th at Sanam Luang, Bangkok which will also be a national holiday.

 

Here are the important dates in October:


October 5th – A national holiday to celebrate the end of the Buddhist Lent
October 13th – A national holiday to honour the anniversary of the HM King Rama IX’s death
October 25th – The commencement of the Royal Funeral
October 26th – The Royal Funeral
October 27th to 29th – The continuation of various religious ceremonies.

I read these rules last week sometime as they were posted elsewhere.

 

the point is this means its up to the local police. They will turn up at the last minute if they can be bothered and close places.
