A manhunt has been launched after two prisoners escaped on Friday (Nov 24) while Phetchaburi prison was hit by flooding, about 70 centimetres under water, said prison warden Bussaba Ketudom.

Ms Bussaba identified the two as Ekachai Kruakaew, a convict and theft charge, and Tawatchai Maliyaem, a drug convict.

She said the two prisoners took the opportunity while the prison was being flooded to scale over the northern wall and escape.

The one on the left was working on a Michael Scofield style escape map tattoo, when rainy season kicked in and he figured "frack it, let's just hop over the wall and do a runner".

Absolutely they're on their way home.   Problem is..... They have to eat and arrange transportation, Dangerous!!  Hopefully they don't hurt anyone on their way home.  I'm very curious as to how long it will take authorities to re-capture these felons!

Prison breaks seem to be a weekly thing here.

Given conditions in Thai prisons and the Thai's attitude to prisoners, frequent escape attempts would not surprise.

There are about 2500 Thai men that look exactly like those two guys around the area where I live.

Ever considered moving ?

just a thought
