It is incredible how another man's misfortune becomes another's joke.

i wonder why on earth he was out in that outside lane going so slow, of course its drive in any lane here isnt it,

I wonder whether this sidecar was driving at all.

Looks more like having a sit-in on the right lane.

Discussing how to get back to the (missed) U-turn?

Breakdown? Empty tank?

The mixture of vehicles with the bloody dangerous U-turns forcing all kind of traffic to the right is a nightmare.

Most blame to put on the driver of the speeding gray Honda.

I once was in a similar situation but could fortunately break in time.

amazing like so many other videos, the driver makes no effort to brake. and of course the last 15 seconds before impact show a whole list of "what not to do while driving."

MORONS!

Morons?  The morons were the trike occupants.

That trike only came into view when the car in front suddenly veered to the left exposing the trike, he had less than one second to react, could you have done much better?

Why? Avoiding the trike gets him most of the blame?  What?

As soon as he entered the right lane he had enough distance to break instead of accelerating for that highly dangerous swerve, cutting others break distance short which could have made up for a much worse accident.

At this point he had clear sight and was not too fast to break:

Can't see why he's in any way to blame. it wasn't him that cleaned out the sidecar, he appeared to manage slipping back into lane 2 quite smoothly. It's the dashcam car that wasn't looking where he was going and planning ahead!

If you see a rally style maneuver in dense traffic as smooth, we seem to have a "different view" of the video.

And of course the brain dead trike rider is the main culprit, no question.

the thing is that he didn't cut any other drivers braking distance in any way to contribute to this accident, certainly not the one that hit the trike (the Honda driver is not responsible for the following car's braking distance!), no other vehicles were involved in this.

How do you know whether the Honda accelerated in those 2 seconds?

The Honda was the one that avoided this accident!

"Rally style manoeuver"

What?  He swerved to successfully avoid the trike

Make up your mind, which one is it to blame?

It's Fate as monk ends up sprawled over the screen

A Thai driver was heard to utter the Thai word "wengam" (fate) as a monk who had been travelling on a motorcycle with sidecar attachment flew into his windscreen.

Last year it was reported that many Thai motorists believe that road accidents are fate.

While Thai-English dictionaries do indeed translate Wengam formally as 'fate', when uttered during some unfortunate incident such as eg a car crash, it's an exclamation meaning Jesus! God Almighty or Damn! etc, not a reference to karma or fate.

Who or what is it at about 25 secs, that says ' keep a safe distance please ' ?

Sounds like an automated voice, maybe a modern car with braking distance warning? If it was it's wasted here!
