Thai Rath showed a video of a Thai father attacking his own son at a tire shop.

The 16 year old was earning money to try and put himself through school.

The father had arrived on a motorcycle at the tire shop in Phuttamonthon 4 where his son worked. He kicked and punched him in full view of shocked and filming staff.

However, no one lifts a finger to help him as he cowers before his father still in his helmet.

The media said that the boy comes from a broken home and his father did not want him in that area staying with other relatives even though he is earning his own money to support himself.

He ran away after beatings at home two years before.

A staff member at the tire shop said he had been working there for two weeks.

Thankfully, Thai Rath reported that the authorities are now taking action against the father.

Not surprisingly they reported that the boy did not want to go home to his dad.

The video was widely viewed on Facebook.

Staff should have turned on him and given him a taste of his own medicine.

so the beating was due to the area he was staying in and nothing to do with the dad not wanting the son to work, also it looks like a staff member did try to assist

They were too busy filming the attack.  Sadly that is the norm today and not just in Thailand.

Least miserable actually. Not the same as happiest.

'' However, no one lifts a finger to help him''

So what's that woman doing, are you incapable of reporting the truth?

Thai people will never try to break up a fight between family members.  From far away I watched a lady kicking her daughter who was cowering under the rear of a pickup truck.  10 people were standing around looking.  And no, I wasn't going to be the hero.

If he was pounding the teen boy as screened, for no reason....the scoundrel deserves a 9mm or a 7.65 therapy pill....!!
