BANGKOK — Police on Tuesday night searched brothels in a drug raid and came back empty-handed.

 

Metropolitan police raided five massage parlors – a euphemism for commercial sex venues – in Huai Khwang area to look for drugs and found none, while turning a blind eye to other possible legal violations.

I'll bet they turned a blind eye, Eyes would have been popping out of their heads looking at all those scantily clad ladies, Where do I sign up for RTP??????

Am I correct that the RTP can search and drug test all the patrons of a business without  probable cause or a warrant?  I also assume that it is the same for individuals.  If so, that is a police state by definition.

The police fall under the authority of the NCPO (aka 'junta') that has absolute power including warrantless search and arrest.
