They don't say how many Thailand is being allocated though - the US is getting 200, and Canada 20 being all I can find, so I don't imagine Thailand will get too many. I might make a trip to one of the Bangkok dealers and see if there's still one unaccounted for. I think if you plonk down a big enough deposit they would find you one. But if you simply want to kick the tyres? no. 2

I've had six Hinkley Triumphs in Thailand over the last 20 years, and currently still have two, so they know if I am interested it wouldn't just be to kick the tyres. 2

I thought Konig rang a bell, they were used very successfully in sidecar racing, in the '70s. A friend of mine had a 750 BSA A65 outfit, used it in club racing, did ok on a very limated budget , at the time a lot of winning outfits where useing Imp engines, as in Hillmen Imp ,and they had a fair bit of sucsess, did once see a Konig outfit ,or heard it first ,it did scream. 4

A 1953 Thunderbird. To this day i like bikes with a low seat height, even better a very low seat height. And i'm 6'3" / 190 cms tall. Both my current bikes (79 Triumph twin, 89 Guzzi big twin) have a sprung rear end, yet have considerably lower seat heights than stock. Yet both are designed to go, stop, and go round corners better than std. The bike in the above pic looks to have a most excrutiatingly painful footrest position for that low seat height. I would be cramping up before i even got down to the corner shops. And then my wrists might ache.... Here's something a bit more sensible, i'm sure the seat is prolly still on the workbench inside... I am an marine engineer and have worked on those big 2 stoke engines, boy they are something, dead slow is something like 15 rpm/min. On some of them you can take the exhaust valve off and enter the bore in the head, stand on the piston and then turn the engine (with turning gear engaged) and inspect the liner, on the biggest engines the stoke is app 2mtr, pretty cool eh. Those engines span over 3 floors in height (3 decks, marine talking), man I miss them, we don't use them in oil off-shore but only small 4 stoke moped diesel engines. 5

Sunbeam with a Porker flat 4 ( read Beetle with added Porscheness ) now that looks reasonably in proportion if a little weighty ..
