That's right; everybody likes him, I recon that's why he got all those TV programs running. Saw a program where him and David Coulthard was racing, Couldhardt in a F1 car.
 
Man that Merlin engine is something, a master piece from RR and a great contribution winning WW2.
 
I think that engine was also used in the Mosquito wooden airplane that was fast, really fast; 400mpr (640 km/h)

Kiwi Bruce Anstey on a Manx Norton in the Classic TT a few yrs ago .. That bike by all account's holds the lap record for a Manx .. 

Anstey giving it some up on the mountain on some more modern kit ..

Superb Velo' trials bike .. 

I wasnt sure who the bottom machine was by until I researched it a bit .. and was surprised in the least .. any of you chaps wanna take a chuck as to the make of it ..

John McGuiness on the V4 Norton ready for the call in yesterday's Superbike race sadly shortened due to Daley Mathison's loss on lap 3 .. 

The Norton isn't on the pace of the Kawasaki's and BMW's but to my ears is the best sounding of them with a growl that transforms to a ripping the air wail ..
