If my failing memory serves me correct wasn't there a law brought in last year regarding riding in the back of utes ie: it is against the law. Oh! hang on the guy was riding on the roof of said pick-up silly me should learn to read before commenting

At least no reports of brain damage. Wonder why?

Looks like the danger may also come from unsecured javelins waiting to impale anyone following.

Some people are born with a death wish... Thailand grants them daily!!

The truck went under a low bridge, before reaching the height barrier, for traffic coming the other way.

why did he not hit his head then, seen all kinds of accidents there when

high trucks try to go under, one day a load of alloy windows,Bell peppers,

and damaged roofs on covered trucks, the height is clearly posted, but I suppose

they think they can still make it.!

Since when does something being against the law mean anything in Thailand? Whether something is illegal or not has absolutely no relevance here.

Surprised he suffered any injury by hitting his HEAD !

No excuse, I see room in the back right corner where he could have crouched and been below the barrier.

Could be that he didnt see the barrier ?
