Has Invadeit been hijacked?

Featured Replies

Trying to look up some computer components on Invadeit and keep getting redirected to Thai porn and gambling sites, not just the once but on every click so almost impossible to actually look for anything.

Also as an additional bonus Edge CPU usage shoots up to over 90% :shock1:

Anyone else having same problems with http://www.invadeit.co.th

Works fine here.

The problem is most probably your computer and the browser , it's been hijacked by a malware/virus.  You need to do a full scan , what antivirus program and OS ?

If Windows restart in Safe mode and download antimalware software. Also check your antivirus program is up to date.

Definitely an issue only for the OP.

And a good time to mention what a great IT store it is!

Mmm! Strange I'm not having problems with any other site.

IE shows "Internet Explorer blocked a popup from www.invadeit.co.th" which if I allow brings up the offending pages.

Google seems to be OK but that could be the adblocker is working.

Needs some further investigation

I just flashed up IE with no plug-ins etc. No issues with Invade. I'm afraid you have something ????

Have you tried an alternative browser, it may be a browser hijack.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

InvadeIT is a great store. I think the mods should change the title of the topic and remove InvadeIT so there is no misunderstanding.

No problem for me....just tried Chrome, Edge, and IE....all connected fine.

Been at it most of the morning

Seems "bodelen virus" is the culprit, Internet has plenty of answers but non seem to work. Have tried my regular anti-virus Malwarebytes as well as Unhackme, Hitman pro and Norton Power Erazer and Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool.

Having various degrees of success in Chrome, Edge and IE, but that's probably due to how well the AdBlock is working on each and not due to any eradication of the virus as it still pops up occasionally.

Seems not so aggressive now after all my efforts so will just live with it till I have time for long overdue total new install

Err! Sometime soon :whistling:

Your browser is hijacked. Usually happens when looking at xxx websites.

Easiest way after a full virus scan is Change browsers if not fixed

Try clearing cookies and bookmark history....and temp files.

Also make sure you have Block Third Party Cookies enabled....like shown below in Chrome.  And be sure to clear all cookies.
