Looking back to early Brexit threads here on TVF, dozens of Brexit supporters have seemingly evaporated     leaving only a handful of Brexiteers doggedly posting in support of their failing Brexit.

This'll have the usual culprits chomping (no pun intended) at the bit ????

Reminder re 'Content' rather than 'poster' for any that have the urge to reply. In this case it includes Batten & Littlejohn.

Exactly.

Still no explanation as to how 39 bn has been calculated.....

Like any other reconciliation, liabilities against assets.

Yah, it’s pretty funny. Wide spread lies and manipulation in the opinion poll that didn’t get annulled only because it was just an opinion poll, and now the very same people scream because someone lied about speeding. You can’t make this sht up.

It is sad that after all this time Brexiteers need to ask this sort of question. Can it be true they STIILL  don't know the evidence... or choose to ignore it?

Why don't you do your own homework?

4.143 In Annex B of our November 2017 EFO we detailed the UK’s contributions to the EU’s finances and how we forecast them, then in Annex B of our March 2018 EFO, we detailed how we arrived at our estimate of the UK’s financial settlement with the EU – the so-called ‘divorce bill’.

Once you have read the relevant documents you can come back and give us your analysis.

I'm sure many of them would be only too happy to see the back of us, but we are incapable of even achieving this simple job - the Germans, not previously famous for their sense of humour, have been having a field bay with Brexit, see below.

Meanwhile there are still those in the EU charitable enough to give us a chance to prove that we are not actually insane, our performance on that front is not convincing.

This apparently is next weeks Parliamentary Agenda for anyone who is interested.

Agenda | Brexit diary for the week ahead

Sunday

Senior ministers expected to continue talks with Labour over a possible compromise. Theresa May is spending the weekend at Chequers, plotting out her options for yet another crunch week in her premiership.

Monday

Peers rush through bill proposed by Sir Oliver Letwin and Yvette Cooper designed to force Mrs May to seek a Brexit delay and avoid a no-deal outcome. Senior lawyers in the Lords expected to amend the legislation over fears it could currently fail. But those behind the bill hope it can still receive royal assent by the end of the day.

Tuesday

If the Letwin-Cooper bill receives royal assent on Monday, Mrs May will be required by law to table a motion in the Commons specifying the length of extension she will seek from the EU. MPs will then be able to amend that date. The Prime Minister will be legally required to request the new departure date demanded by the Commons.

Wednesday

European leaders meet for an emergency session of the European Council arranged after the Commons rejected Theresa May's deal for a third time last month. They are due to discuss Mrs May's existing request for an extension of the negotiating period to June 30 - the last day before which the UK would face legal ramifications for remaining in the EU without holding elections to the European Parliament.

However, if the Letwin-Cooper bill has been passed by Parliament and received royal assent the Prime Minister could be required to seek a longer extension. EU  leaders are minded to offer a long delay, beyond the European Parliament elections, but with a get-out clause if a deal is reached. Evidence that talks with Labour are bearing fruit would help Mrs May to seek the possibility of an extension that would still allow the UK to leave the EU before the European Parliament elections.

Thursday

If negotiations with Jeremy Corbyn break down, Mrs May is considering holding a run-off in the Commons under which MPs would hold a series of binding votes on possible Brexit options, including her deal. Senior government figures will hope that alternatives to her plan, including the possibilities of a long extension, in the absence of an agreed deal, or a permanent customs union, could prompt at least some of the hardcore of Tory Eurosceptics to support her at the eleventh hour.

Friday

UK due to leave the EU at 11pm if another extension is not agreed beforehand. This date was set by EU leaders because it is the deadline for the UK to decide whether to hold European Parliament elections next month.

The European Parliament has released its first projections for what the composition of the next European Parliament may look like following the upcoming elections in May. The results are nothing less than a major a warning for the European institutions as the preliminary numbers indicate that far-right, Eurosceptic parties look to make major gains across most of the EU.

Yes the self signed off accounts of the EU are  likened to a bikini-what it reveals is interesting but what it conceals is vital.

You know how People always harp on about Brexit just being the first step to an authoritarian, populist, intolerant, politics and society?

Well:

“More than half of Britons want a “strong leader willing to break the rules”, a new survey...has found.”

May is employing a very simple tactic that the Chinese have employed for years - death by a thousand cuts.

She hopes that by continually pushing her divorce deal through Parliament over and over again,

eventually everyone will tire and for the sake of just getting it over with, will approve her deal.

Nothing more to it.
