Nothing unusual about that. You can get your same number issued to a new SIM card as long as you show ID. Your number is registered to you.

If she is working on 25k a month why should she expect to be paid more by a boyfriend? how much older are you than your girlfriend? that will tell you if its genuine or not and that you will need to pay

Good point, on 25k/month that's more money than most Thai ladies earn, why would you give her any more?

If you like each other for real it feels good, not something you can get from a man if you are heterosexual. I enjoy being with women along with men and I don't fancy paying for a girlfriend or friend. Pay for sex why not but if you care for someone that's different. Guys just need to "keep it real" paying a girlfriend and thinking that she genuinely likes you is gullible. It's funny when a guy parades his new girlfriend around, it's very similar to buying or leasing a new car

like i said further up, if no money is involved it's a bit easier to work out if they genuinely like you or not. A sign is they keep coming back. I enjoy having a love interest, better than only hanging out with guys

I've got a Brit pal, great looking guy, athletic, intelligent, charming ,witty, works hard, earns lots.

The perfect man, apart from one small oddity, he's never wanted to own his own house.

We were chatting one day and he moaned about never being able to keep a girlfriend his entire life, he'd dated some real beauties back in London, but they always wandered off after a while.

 

I said to him, "did they leave before of after they discovered your attitude towards housing?"

A month of so later he got back to me and replied, "I never thought about that before, but it was always shortly after"

If your dealing with a girl with high local value. white skin, tall, slim, beautiful face. absolutely you better be paying a salary if you want to keep her for life. There is no option since obviously she will not be working a job, that is laughable. And there are a list of well off thai men out the door willing to give her everything they have. I have had a couple relationships with these girls, if they know you are well off financially they will give you a chance for 3-6 months, but at some point they will expect a pay off. How is she going to maintain her beauty and high class life style without salary. All that bullsh!t she is injecting at the beauty clinic is expensive. You can think of that first 3-6 months as grooming you to get the best deal possible. As soon as the salary topic comes up you have to bail immediately.

In my experience if you don't marry them or make a commitment (let them move in) your "girlfriend" will not stay around.  If you are boyfriend to a woman who is financially independent, doesn't want marriage, doesn't want kids, only wants a boyfriend and willing to pay their own way, you have an ideal relationship for sure.

those type of white skin high value women are also in the money game, don't let their appearances fool you. they cater to and are able to attract wealthy thai guys but usually just for fun or second wife. i live in a 99% affluent thai bkk condo and yes there are girls like the ones you describe but there are also girls white skin, prestigious uni degrees( some from overseas), stable nice families, that are not in the money game.

very true....the only issue is how can one be sure she is not a $-THB-UK£-CHF digger ? Quite a few women are crafty in hiding their true faces until doomsday????, but true that in that case one cannot trust anybody, anytime. ....

.....maybe the alternative could be never to buy in other's name ?....only rent with full open options to walk away one fine morning, with no house, debt, bank accounts in anybody else's name except oneself ? ? ?.....

Then you're back to the problem of no female company unless you pay them.

On a side note, ever wondered why guys that live with mom and dad are universally despised by women?

The obvious answer is there's no house to be leveraged out of them, no court will give a woman your mom and dads house when it all goes wrong, she can't phone the police and get you out of the house by making any claims of violence.

it is not difficult to "outcraft" those types of women.   i am lucky because ability to speak and read the language filters out a high % of them much in the way wearing a cross keeps vampires at bay.

Very hard to 'outcraft' them in the west.

Apparently in Australia, sleep-overs for more than 50% of the nights over a 2 year stretch gives them entitlement to 50% of everything you own.

 

I guess getting a vasectomy and changing gfs every 18 months should fix the problem.
