Fun Isaan music by Pee Saderd, wife loves this song , calls it the barbeque snail song, we listen to it in the car all the time and have fun with it.

It is called the BBQ Snail diet

You barbeque snails and drop them in a glass of Lao Khao , then drink the lao Khao and throw the snail away. Guarantee to lose weight among other things. ????

On this subject ...
Is Thai music really music;
we can really wonder when we have to undergo deep bass, which is more saturated, of singers who do not even know how to sing just;
I was entitled to this yesterday all day yesterday;
double glazing and shutters seriously muffled the noise, yes the noise because it is not music, generated on the market place in the village;
I'm regenerating my ears and my brain with this which is really music

I posted this group on another western music thread in this forum. They have a heavy Thai (issan) influence that is more apparent in the  song below;

 who play are interested below is a tutorial in the above reefs

Most of it is combination of a major and minor Pentatonic scale.very easy to learn, below is a tutorial

Mike Piromporn is my favorite male luktung Issan singer, he has a restaurant on lad prhao soi 71 where he sometime sings, or used to have. When we left there once he went onto the street to get us a taxi and told the driver to take his friends home, he did but would not accept any money for the fare because Mike had asked him, he has a lot of respect.

I don't think Cliff Richard and the shadows ever came to Thailand but they were popular here in the 60's and this band was formed from their influence. Not quite Hank Marvin and Jet Harris but interesting nonetheless. Went to a posh it's the 60's again concert at Baiyoke Tower a few years ago and one of the film clips they kept playing was summer holiday
