Tourism minister plans to get back the lost Europeans - with MASSAGE and GANJA!

 

 

The new Thai minister for tourism and sports thinks he can get Europeans and Americans back to visiting Thailand with the promise of massage and ganja. 

 

Medical marijuana that is. 

 

Pipat Ratchakijprakan - who took over last week - said he is well aware that less visitors are coming from Europe and the USA. So his plan is to entice them to Thailand with medical marijuana treatments while having traditional Thai massages. 

 

He hopes that such plans will become a reality within six months to a year. 

 

He said that there are many tourists with pro-ganja views who would come as a result. 

 

He also said that Bhumjai Thai party policies in relation to Grab and AirBnB would be followed through.

 

This could see Grab being made fully legal in places like Bangkok and Phuket and other tourist areas.

 

Deregulation regarding AirBnB would help promote the "Homestay" market he said. 

 

Recently Thailand has been rocked by claims from business groups in Pattaya and Phuket that tourism in June was down 30% year on year. 

 

Western tourists such as Europeans and Americans were now seeking to go elsewhere. 

 

Pipat recognised that the strength of the baht at 30 to a dollar was not helping tourism. He said 32 to a dollar would be better. 

 

He said he would talk to the treasury about it.

Since they legalized pot I can tell you Americans living in California are way too stoned out of their minds to find the airport.

Does he not know that countries where many tourists come from are NOW full of massage parlours, nail shops and puff is plentiful...The army does not walk the streets looking for Bridge players, they can go in an actual shop to place a bet, and transport where one knows the cost. ????

PS. I don't know about China or India though....

You would have to ask whoever it is giving the HJ!

The Pattaya and Phuket model is probably outdated and not wanted by newer generations. Pattaya as an example, has nothing to offer that you can't have better somewhere else.

Minimum is +10% of average population which equals an IQ of 75.
