Thai person missing in another country

Hello  -  hopefully somebody can help

What are the procedures for reporting  a Thai national potentially missing in another country, Malaysia 

 

does anybody have any info that may be useful 

 

Any assistance would be appreciated

A police report (missing person) and then contact the Thai Embassy in Malaysia.  That would be the route I would go.

I'll add that if the person went missing in Malaysia (last known whereabouts) then the police report should be made to the Police in Malaysia (not necessarily in Thailand).  I'm not sure if the police in Thailand will make a report if the person was last seen in Malaysia (but it wouldn't hurt to try).  Cover all bases.
