You never read a story in a UK or other country newspaper about 'Thai People being harrassed etc"

You are treated as equals by local and can apply for citizenship after a number of years

 

I could go on and on about schooling, Universities, medical treatment etc etc. This is why so many tens of thousands of Thai's visit Europe and never come back (my own ex Thai wife is included) 

All I can say to the Thai people who are so critical of farangs is go get an interesting life of your own and make the best of your life and leave other non Thai people alone!!

probably has extended the lives of many dogs and it aligns with how the Thai culture wishes to handle the soi dog population.....vs the impractical and ridiculous western attitude of many here of kill ‘em all...

Real question is if his tax bill is 1.8 million baht, how much were his profits and when he has 1.8 million baht, why are they begging for donations? and if tax bill is 1.8 million, why were they asking for donations as clearly he/they were making a LOT

Asians in general, and Thais in particular, do not like Farang showing up how awful they treat animals and the environment in general...Thailand one of the Top 5 plastic pulluters in whole world...do they eat dogs, same as Vietnamese, Chinese and Koreans???

My wife is saying the same thing. Not what the Thai media is saying. The Thai workers were trying to scam the French guy and frame him for something he did not do. Then to top it off, the workers wanted severance pay. My wife said the pay ... 10,000 per month. Above average pay for Thailand and the workers were warned several times not to be sleeping on the job and has surveillance camera to prove it. Another smear job!

They do in my village even though it is illegal. I hear them talk about, never have seen it though. I'm not sure I would not know what it looked like

Excuse me? What bs? This individual has antagonized near all who have met him. Few  would say that is because because  he feeds dogs. But many have reason to question his primary motivation.

Verbatim  information recieved: 2 years ago this guy owed money all over the district and got  nasty at another French guy because he refused to lend him. Shop owners were trying to find him  to collect on credit that they stupidly gave him because he put across the image of  being good for it.

So given that as given  fact and that now he can pay 1.8 million for  tax?

There is  more to his  background that people know and it is  not a pretty picture.

Just had a message from an Australian friend  who says that up until about a year back there  were  commercials on Australian TV  soliciting donations  for this outfit. Abruptly stopped  when the investigations over use of donated funds came about.

 

No doubt there is severe outrage almost to a rioting level that it was a foreigner who was responsible....how dare they treat a thai citizen in such a inhuman manner...he needs to be black listed immediately.

It started with him posting videos of killing dogs under pretence dogs were infected with rabies . 22 dogs he put down and all done wrongly , not only from administering medication but not even doing blood tests to confirm.

 

Then he was supporting 50 dogs in Cambodian shelter , but in fact was only giving 2 bags of food.

 

Once authorities starting digging is when all other allegations came about 

 

Will not mention name but someone with very large social media presence in Australia , started the campaign to bring him to justice , then local people got involved and local vets.

According to my gf the workers were happy working there and satisfied with their salaries, old frenchie wanted them to spend 1 to 2 hours every day in the cage with the dogs and would pay them more.

Whether he actually forced them in or locked them in was not mentioned and the report was deemed to be a bit of a joke by the reporters .

Police were present during the report but no mention of any action to be taken .

don't they work in the dog pound with the dogs and the pound doors are kept closed to stop the dogs getting out, not defending the owner or his wife but perhaps until we hear from the owner maybe there's a little colourful reporting going on
