Sure, shops cannot afford the rents anymore.

Central Festival has become a dump, after they opened the new onw next door.

This is good news. The old location rarely had parking, and it was standing room only inside.

I will also take a moment to mention the excellent service, we have had with The Phuket Passport Office. Always very professional with speedy service.

It's following the Bangkok model where the passport offices are in shopping malls.

Take a wild guess, for which country would the Phuket passport office be issuing passports? I'll help, it's not for Burundi.

Wouldn't be Thailand by any chance?   ???? Why put it on TVF then.  ????

I was thinking, passport office? Surely immigration office, but no, apparently not.

For all the Thai people who read TVF and their nearest passport office is Pattaya. Very helpful.

Because many of the expats here have wives and kids with Thai passports that need to be renewed periodically. It's helpful information for many people on TVF.

Yippeeeee ! Now, when I do my visa stuffs ... right there and then I can go and spend 300% markup on those imported luxury items I don't need but for some strange reason must have!
