Can someone give me a list of documents needed to get a thai drivers license for first time? Or an accurate website with list

My big question is

If I have a Thai Yellow Tabien Baan book, do I still need to get a CR (Certificate of Registration)from Thai immigration? I am here on marriage visa

 

I have

Passport and copies of required pages

My driver license in USA

Yellow Tabien Baan book and Thai ID card

Photos

Thai baht

 

Will get 

Medical certificate

 

Is there anything else?

My last renewal was 10 years ago but I did it with my yellow book and no residence cert.  I did definitely need my wifes ID and possibly (it's a while ago!) her Tabien Baan.

Just take everything.  But the important one is the USA license.

 

You sit at some pedals and push it down when the red light shows.  Than watch a 30 minutes movie in Thai.

 

 

On my last two visits to our DLT I did not need a cert. of res.

Yellow book (pink card) accepted.

It's a while that I read about offices that did NOT accept the yellow book.

Pattaya/Banglamung office one of them.

I live in Nonthaburi

I’m from Nonthaburi. Yellow book OK there a few weeks ago when I renewed my license.

 

Maybe not a good idea to show them your pink card. I ended up with the card number on my driving license rather than my passport number.

More like 60 mins? Take a newspaper.

Some DLTs might require it, others don't: International Driving Permit
