Myanmar girl, 5, raped and killed

A five-year-old Myanmar girl was found raped and murdered on Saturday (July 4) in the forest in Tak province.

 

The police went to Muhajireen community in Mae Sot district, after being notified of the crime. They found the girl's body, her hands and legs tied with a rope, while her clothes were torn.

 

It was assumed the girl was raped and murdered. Three suspects have been arrested while forensic test results are awaited.

 

Mae Sot Hospital has confirmed the girl had suffered internal injuries and bleeding. The doctors also found a piece of clothing stuffed in her mouth.

 

About 100 residents of the community were horrified by the news. They said the girl had gone missing at around 7pm on July 3 and was found the following morning.

 

Witnesses claimed that they had seen a man take the girl away while she was playing alone in the yard. The man later reportedly returned alone. The man it was revealed had earlier been convicted for rape and imprisoned for seven years when he lived in Myanmar.

Another reason why rapists should never be released from prison without having their genitals removed. 

That’s just sick!!! Sometimes I wish eye for an eye would still be in place!!!

So, there are multiple witnesses that sees an unknown or known man take a girl he have no relation to away from her yard and do nothing. Not even inform the parents?

Sad to read this in the morning and my thoughts goes to the parents and the girls family. RIP little girl, I hope you find peace in a better place.

Heart breaking reading this story, a poor little girl is taken away by a man, yet witnesses do nothing, unbelievable, they should hang their heads in shame.

My heart goes out to her parents, they must be distraught, knowing nobody stopped the man.

R.I.P. little 1 hope you are now at peace.

If 100% proven by DNA that the bloke did it, then there must be only one course of action, which can be done in this country..

Nothing will happen...a wai and all forgiven.  Road kill and rape are normal here...Black lives matter will cause more outrage and mayhem in society, her loss won't even move the needle.......sadly.

You are aware of his nationality?  This was murder!

After the first conviction for rape and murder of a child, this animal should have been executed.

A 5 year old would still be alive.

Personally I believe ANY ONE who commits rape on a young child or an elderly woman has forfeited their right to breath.

Heartbreaking. The only justice for the guilty is 10 years hard labour then cut off all food and water until they die in agony

A very good friend of mine said exactly the same thing after the Aberfan disaster in 1966.
