Do you think Thailand is alone  in its unemployment and loss of gross domestic product. Most of the worlds affected couNtries are suffering the same fate. One would think Thailand is the worst hit economically to read what posters on here write.Thailand has done a great job of containing the spread of virus but I noticed in my area mask wearers have gone from about 90% down to about 40% lately.

Everything is open running smoothly.  I went to a floating market recently and there were so many people we were shuffling along barely making a step.

This looks like 11 minutes of horsesh*t.

Not the same.  If you have an economy that depends for a part on tourism than yes. But for other countries this isn't a problem.

Where I come from restaurant and bar owners complain. But other businesses are enthusiastic about the things they learned, about the changes. Many companies found out that working at home is really great and a good way to save money in the future. Webshops thrive. Many people see new opportunities.

Notwithstanding the monotonous, sarcastic video monologue, I believe the facts to be broadly correct.  Yes, Thailand has a very serious problem.  Quite simply losing its international tourism is a hammer blow to the economy, and the problems even without that are just as grave as in other countries.  There could be all sorts of shock waves: mass unemployment and debt defaults being the most obvious.  Where that leads in terms of societal unrest is anybody's guess but there has been a history of uprisings.
