PHUKET:-- A niece in England has made a plea to find her missing uncle, Peter Murray, 60, who was last reported to be in Phuket.

Mr Murray is about 5ft 8in (about 172cm) tall. He has short grey hair and wears glasses, his niece, Shannon Murray, told The Phuket News by email today (Aug 7).

He also has a distinctive skull tattoo on his upper right arm (see photo).

If I was a loan shark or a low budget hitman looking for a guy, this is how I'd do it.

Obviously been gambling, lost his shirt.

Not so much only loose sleeve's! Hope not loose him self!

Hopefully it's a Hangover 2 scenario, won't be the first guy to get lost in Thailand, temporarily. The fact he's been here for four years already is a bit worrying though, usually guys get that stuff out of their system early. Great to have a niece that cares so much, gonna be a bit embarrassing for him, if it turns out he was on some last minute bender, given he had flights booked to Bulgaria.

For all the guys poking fun at this chap,s possible misfortune, how would you react if it was someone in your family making the same type of appeal....

No need for anyone to poke fun at the man, he could be in need of help desperately, who knows.

Could be he has lost his memory, or something like that.

Many years ago, my own father went out in the evening, did not come home, my mother contacted the police.

A while later a police car stopped outside, my father was in the car, police had found him about 8 miles away, wandering around, no idea who he was, how he got there.

It took him many months to get over it, he was never the same again.

That noggin...is very familiar.

Around O Top area or Dolphin bar complex....could be wrong but normally pretty good with faces.

Last year though before I got out of LOS.

Now the photo has been posted I'm sure he will be found..

hopefully, if feeling ill, he has enough sense (and cents) to get checked out at a clinic - folks sometimes choose libations over healthcare, with negative consequences..
