Man dies, stabbed by drinking buddy at Saphan Hin

PHUKET: A 48-year-old man died after being stabbed in the chest by a friend he was drinking with at Saphan Hin Public Park, on the outskirts of Phuket Town, yesterday (Aug 16).

 

Lt Col Rachan Phanwai of the Phuket City Police was called to the scene, a pavilion beside the pool where the “dancing fountain” show once entertained crowds, at 1:13pm.

 

On the floor of the pavilion was Theeraphol Wichaidit, 48, with two stab wounds in his chest.

Get one of these and check out your drinking partners out before it gets nasty.

Maybe his buddy was drinking more than his fair share,

Alcohol has a lot to answer for,ban alcohol ,make weed

freely available there will be a lot less problems.

Yeah worked out well in the states !????

Due to having to repress feelings and avoiding conflict, Thais never learn about conflict resolution, something Westerners start learning early.

This is why some actions by Thais during a verbal conflict is out of all proportion to the initial argument.

Who says he brought the knife with him? He might have picked one up at the scene of the crime, for example the restaurant or bar.

They obviously had previous.

Booze is a great drug, but not in the wrong hands.

Most beer drinkers are fine and can drink without wanting to stab their buddies,  that urge obviously comes on when the buddie misses his turn to buy.
