Yes, Trump has proven to all the world leaders that it's time to wake up and open the economies of the world.  There is absolutely no reason to keep everything locked down.

How many more deaths does Trump need to be re-elected?

Yes, but probably not true, given the quantity of bleach which one must assume is now coursing through his veins. I note that the peculiar orange hue has gone, I wonder if he glows alarmingly if you look at him through an UV filter?

They are already doing trials, according to what I saw on tv.

And did they finish the trial phase? Were results satisfactory for the go ahead? Not quite there yet. That's beside the point of trials not being conduct or decided according to the temporary results of one patient. Doubt you're not aware of all this.

x 2 ... when it all came out, I said it was a hoax, and that Trump will do/say anything to get/divert attention form the daily infections, here's the result... he fought dirty/hard to get elected and it appears it will be harder to get rid of him, he's like a bad rash or gonorrhea

could it be that the vilified spin Dr Conley wasn't lying, Trump was doing very well?

Right at the moment President Donald Trump is living proof that a normal, relatively healthy person, even one who is "elderly", is capable of fending off the Sars-Cov-2 flu virus which has a 99.96% overall survival rate.

End of story.

He has been pumped full of experimental drugs to keep him propped up for the election. At this rate, he either succumbed to Covid or the aggressive use of experimental steroids will potentially give him dangerous side effects. The story far from over by a long shot. The next development may not be pleasant for Trump’s supporters.

Indeed,  "Night of the Living Dead" - the White House chapter, has only just begun...

(my apology to the Carpenters.)

He's got access to frequent checks, best medical treatment, newest drugs - that's not how things are for most people.

Unless you're willing to take his word for it, then nothing was 'fended' off. He got pumped full of steroids and sent 'home' (where he's got round the clock medical care available).

You've no idea if he's 100% alright, whether he's out of the woods, or if there are side effects involved. You certainly can't extrapolate from one case involving a patient who happens to be POTUS to the rest of the world.

''A slap in the face': Families of COVID-19 victims slam president's downplaying of his diagnosis'

"Hours before he was released from a hospital stay for his coronavirus diagnosis Monday, President Trump tweeted his thoughts on the pandemic that's killed over 210,000 Americans, saying, "Don't be afraid."

But for scores of families who've lost loved ones to the disease, as well as first responders and other advocates, the response was far different. Many of them slammed the president's cavalier sentiment and warned that it could make the situation worse."

he is recovering, it is due to a combination of good luck

Actually it is "devine providence" which makes him the winner in this battle.

One of his German ancestors got this experience once already ????
