A President who paid off women to keep them quiet, boasted of defrauding contractors, said POW's were losers, sprays insults on Twitter like confetti at a wedding, endangered people for photo opportunities, held rallies which helped spread coronavirus against medical advice - that's not disgusting?

You have a very peculiar set of values.

Hold on just a second. I think he was talking about Fox News.

Today I learned that winning the popular vote by (currently) 5 million and still rising, is "narrowly beats" .   The second-largest popular vote margin since the Obama landslide in 2000.  Or you can compare electoral college (290-214).   Either way it was a pretty solid ass kicking.

But what did you expect from a nearly bankrupt former mail order meat salesman who (of course) couldn't manage the campaign money properly and had to pull ads in battleground states in the final weeks.

70 million American citizens supported The Donald as his ilk and they still dwell among us. The work is just beginning ...

Thankfully Dems increased their votes to more than four million than trump. For me it's amazing a man whose promised to 'drain the swamp', but actually deepened and spread the 'swamp' with his appointments and increased access for lobbyists and so many other lies, is still trusted by so many Americans.

I read today (can't provide link due to paywall) that even if the Supreme Court gave the go ahead (likely with Barrett) to reject the three days of counted votes after 3/11 it would not make any difference to Biden having the majority of votes in Pennsylvania. The spitefulness of trump is the never ending gift for the Dems.

If he had tried to do that , it wouldnt have been allowed due to the fact that POTUS can only serve two terms , maximum 8 years

Says who? Trump wrenched the Republican Party off its foundation, neutered the FBI and Justice Department, appointed family members to White House staff in breach of the rules, billed taxpayers for official events held at his properties, and stacked the Supreme Court with conservative jurists. A little law like that wouldn't bother him at all, it's there to be broken like the others.

I suggest you watch for what happens when he no longer has Presidential immunity from prosecution, there's probably a lot of illegality yet to come.

Congrats to Biden and Co, let's hope the republicans will not attempt to stymie every move by the Biden administration.

Yeah, it's not like the Democrats along with the mainstream media did that to Trump during his presidency.

BS. He would have been trying to get the two mandated terms extended to President for Life. That's what Xi, Kim and Putin have done.

You seem to forget Trump admires these people, and seeks the same powers.

Correct.  Trump, himself, said several times he should be 'entitled' to more than 4 more years as President. He also said he might 'negotiate' a third term.  Total delusional wacko.

Yes, you know that and I know that but, as I just posted, that didn't stop Trump from actually saying he might 'negotiate' a third term--obviously absolutely no respect for the law.  Left unsaid was just how he might do the negotiating.  So scary this lawless, lying nut case has been Prez.

Some of these GOP supporters are a unforgiving lot. I remember when Obama won in 2008. I was working with an American, at the time, and he just hated Obama. He thought the sun shone out of GWB and even before his inauguration in Jan 2009, he just poured it on Obama.

There was no "let's see how this fella turns out and what he does." Just like the poster you responded to....it was just negative bile from the beginning.

Fox news was very supportive of trump.

I've seen comments like this mentioned quite a few times and independent observers from around the world will gladly state that the American Democratic party is centre-right to centre, whereas trump supporters will refer to them as "commies" and talk about "far left progressive calls".

Now this is a genuine post, not trying to create an upset, but would somebody kindly tell me what type of far left progressive calls are being made? Or indeed what they mean.

Yes, there is a video clip with B. Sanders talking to the 4 lady Senators (AOC +3) where the election was in its 3 or 4th day. (I am currently looking for that video clip in my online history) B. Sanders seemed most determined that '...make J. Biden the most progressive president yet'. However, apparently, J. Biden is supposed to have said that he would resist such attempts and would tell those senators who would try to influence his current stance, not to bother. As I previously wrote, I think we will just have to wait and see.

Biden is now up 34k votes in NV (2.6%) & 43k in PA; more blue votes to come.

AZ/GA leads are insurmountable now with very little outstanding.

Biden wins 306 EVs & leads popular vote by 4.8M, with 6M ballots still out from CA/NY/IL.

this was not a close election.

Not without a coherent strategy and allies. At the end of the day, trade deficit with China is still growing, customers will have to pay for his tariff wars, farmers are suffering and not much manufacturing jobs returned. Meanwhile his corporate buddies are laughing all the way to the bank with those tax cuts.

More like helping his daughter make money off his visit to China after being elected.  Talk about corruption.

The Chinese government granted a total of 41 trademarks to companies linked to Ivanka Trump by April of 2019—and the trademarks she applied for after her father became president got approved about 40% faster than those she requested before Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 election, according to a new book by Forbes’ senior editor Dan Alexander.

Seems Trump paid more in taxes to China than he did to the US government.

You'll have to provide a credible link to prove this.

nahh it will go for Ivanka's campain in 2024

Win or lose, President Donald Trump will be “Republican kingmaker” for 2024, commentators predict, and the candidate could be his adored and ambitious daughter, Ivanka Trump.

Trump may decide to run in 2024, so if he does expect another 4 years of the same on tv news.

So...if Trump runs in 2024 he will be 78 years old, going on his 4th wife (probably Aletta Ocean or Abella Danger)...and we still will not have seen his taxes unless the State Of New York throws an Orange Jumpsuit on the man.

Well that would be a hard one to win methinks, as they would drag out the dirt about Jared father, and can the woman actually do an adminstrative role and tell the partial truth as required as a minimum

She might but I don't see her as a serious threat. She lacks the dark charisma of Daddy and she just comes off as a born with a golden spoon  New York version of a vacuous Valley girl. Sure lots of people would vote for a sack of flour with her last name but whatever.

Trump may actually think that the  justices that he appointed, OWE him by ruling in his favor. He does not seem to grasp that it doesn't work that way. His mindset is pure corporate power. He does not understand how government and rule of law work.

So you say Biden is too old, but you're OK with Trump being the same age and running again?  Double standards?
