Lots of discussion about Trump resigning so he can be pardoned by Pence.  How can a person be pardoned for crimes that they have not yet been convicted of committing?  Just asking as I am no fan of Trump and would be very happy to see him, his children and son-in-law in jail.

Three years old but still a decent explanation/history: https://www.forbes.com/sites/jacobfrenkel/2017/07/21/president-trump-can-preemptively-pardon-his-advisors-and-family-but-will-he/?sh=4f58b9ab6c3b

Or they go to countries without extradition treaties.

Someone is rumoured to be in London , and the UK and Thailand have extradition treaties. She must have good connections, or has settled her rice bill.
