Any bicycle shops in Pattaya and Jomtien that sell cheap used bikes?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am looking for shops in Pattaya and, preferably, Jomtien that sell second hand bikes. It's  for a Thai friend so the bikes need to be cheap and is not intended for long journeys. Cheers.

Check on facebook for used, can get new bikes for 3,000bht.

I said thx. Maybe not minds, but he can read text surely.

Any particular kind of bike ? Trail bike ? 10 speed "racing" bike ? Regular pedal bike with basket on the front and luggage rack on the rear ?

I ask because I know someone who does a lot of riding (one of those guys you see on the "racing" style bikes wearing spandex) and he might know where some shops are.

I also know from experience that the used bike shops aren't a bargain, know this is an anonymous forum so save the snippety remarks.

As the OP has quite the attitude and now isn't going to bother reading any replies, then this thread has probably run it's course.

What's your budget? If it's for a friend and they don't need a specialised model; go to Decathlon and get them a new one. You can check their prices online without needing to attend.

If they need a second hand proper mountain bike or racer, you'll need to go to a proper bike shop. You can find those yourself, by running an online search or you can just go to Thep Prasit and check out the bike shops there to start.

There was also a place that rented them out in Soi Lengkee; haven't checked it they are still there and willing to sell. You can do that yourself.

Try to lose the attitude; otherwise people will be less willing to help you in the future.

A totally useless troll post has been removed along with a reply.

I haven't seen any shops selling low end 2nd hand bikes, maybe try rental shops, they have no customers now so make an offer. Rental shop on Pratumnak Hill past Soi 5 on the left

There was a bicycle shop in Thepprasit road 2 years ago, not sure if it's still there.

Here it is

2nd hand shop on the Suk going south had about 6 bikes for sale a few days ago when I was having a sniff about.

It's almost exactly across the road from Makro.

Your head gets turned by some the deals in there until you remember that you don't need said items or have anywhere to store them until the time comes when you might need them

Not sure if any local shops sell them but you can find them on Lazada.

If you look around you can find cheaper ones but you've got to watch the tire size and max weight as the kiddie ones look jus like the adult ones in the pics.
