Want to buy external ip from 3bb - how to explain their stuff what is it?

I want temporary to expose outside my server and buy external ip for that . ip4. When I tried to explain what I need the stuff did not understand what I need and I am pretty sure they don't know what is it. How to break that dead end?

Tell them: "I want a fixed IP address".

Maybe they tell you that it is impossible or they will tell you how much it cost.

How temporary does it have to be?  You can get your current external ip from ip-chicken.com or similar sites.  Our service provider is TOT.  Unless I reboot the TOT router the external ip remains the same for 24 hours.
