Why choose an e-visa over the 60-day exemption?
I live in Oz and am a frequent LOS visiter 4/5 times per year. I just did a tourist eVisa cos of fear of IO discretion making up their own rules re multiple VE's and demanding eVisa etc re " come too many times" accusations. During 2024 I did 2 tourist visa's first 6 months and 2 VE's second 6 months for a total of <180 days and intend to do same in 2025 and beyond - subject to IO discretion (Non O, DTV, etc not for me). MFA Deputy Director has clearly stated they are unlimited but subject to IO discretion Not according to directives via IO discretion -

Thailand to Train 7,000 Massage Therapists Amid Industry Shortage
This number will increase dramatically if they train them how to make really happy endings. I wish they would make it illegal to hire anyone without licensing and schooling in massage therapy. All too often massage parlors hire anyone willing to do the work leaving them untrained as professionals and causing minor injuries on their customers. -

Thailand to Train 7,000 Massage Therapists Amid Industry Shortage
Don´t know the training or what status massage they are talking about. I think I have heard of more people getting injured here, including myself, by supposed professional legit massage therapists. Having them deal with things like herniated discs with a few weeks of training seems very stupid and dangerous. -

Japan dethrones Thailand as top tourist spot
Great points and it just seems their is resistancce or unwillingness to adopt methods and procedures that other countries have proven to be effective. Is this the "truey Thai way"? Countires like Japan and S. Korea were in utter shamlbes some 80 to 70 years ago and look at the progress both have made by learning from and adopting ways introduced by other countries. -
