I'm currently in the jungles of Thailand, explaining to everyone how this will affect the world!!!!

Let me think back to how Trump affected my life......................................

still thinking......................................yea, not at all.     save your energy on the real stuff, this "storming" was nothing.

Ahhh... the "it only matters if it affects me directly" response.

Particularly sad in this instance.

  • Trump and his seditious, tin foil hat wearing lunatics have gone too far with this one. America the rest of the world is watching. Get your house in order.

  • It's not insurrection.  It's a protest.  Kind of like the ones that went on every night for weeks (months?) in some cities.  In fact, this one seemed pretty benign in comparison, with no burnt cars, b

  • Excellent speech by Biden.    Rather than condemn the actions, Trumps video response has added more fuel to the disgusting scenes. He needs to be locked up.

People are angry.  Labeling them as conspiracy theorists and telling them to deny what their senses are telling them and thinking that's going to sweep it all under the rug is not going to work out well for you.

They are angry because their idol is telling them lies.  And they fall for it!  Guaranteed, if Trump didn't say there was voter fraud, this wouldn't be happening.  Guaranteed.  This is all on Trump.  Terrible leader.

There's nothing to be swept under the rug except conspiracy theories.

Anyone who knew anything about trump would have expected no less.

I think Bill Maher has been predicting that Trump would incite violence when he lost the election.  I thought it was unthinkable even for Trump, guess I was wrong.

At least the Thais know how to do a coup the correct way.....Trumpster idiots...just going to end in jail for a lot of folks while Trump goes golfing......idiots

The Latest: West Virginia lawmaker among rioters in Capitol

A West Virginia lawmaker took video of himself and other supporters of President Donald Trump rushing into the U.S. Capitol after they breached the security perimeter.

In the video by Republican Del. Derrick Evans, later deleted from his social media page, he is shown wearing a helmet and clamoring at the door to breach the building in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.

“We’re in! Keep it moving, baby!” he said in a packed doorway amid Trump followers holding flags and complaining of being pepper sprayed. Once inside, Evans could be seen on video milling around the Capitol Rotunda, where historical paintings depict the republic’s founding, and yelled, “No vandalizing!”

Congress is back and the counting is about to begin.  Throw these rioting traitors in jail.

The following quote from Rowan Atkinson seems accurate and prophetic.

“The problem we have online is that an algorithm decides what we want to see, which ends up creating a simplistic, binary view of society. It becomes a case of either you’re with us or against us. And if you’re against us, you deserve to be ‘cancelled’,” Atkinson said.

“It’s important that we’re exposed to a wide spectrum of opinion, but what we have now is the digital equivalent of the medieval mob roaming the streets looking for someone to burn. So it is scary for anyone who’s a victim of that mob and it fills me with fear about the future.”

Trump is the worst president in US history.

His Twitter account has been locked up for now, possibly banned if he keeps inciting violence.

Some people are angry. And many of them are unhinged. As for what their senses are telling them, no one is disputing that they get this information via seeing and hearing.  But the one sense they seem to be lacking is common sense. And they seem to be impaired when it comes to smelling BS.

The woman was shot by a U.S. Capitol Police officer, according to two people with knowledge of the incident.

It's just been reported she died. Disgusting! The blood of one MORE dead American is again on 45's hands.

Add that one death to the thousands he's responsible for due to his lies about the virus.

Great speech by Pence now.  Finally, he's speaking up against the violence and insanity.

These terrorists broke into the Capitol, some left IEDs, some looted....and all was fomented by the TRAITOR and SEDITIONIST 45.

45 must be removed, arrested, charged, and if found guilty (a slam dunk), jailed for life.

His family also fomented, encouraged and enabled this terrorism, and they, too, should be arrested, charged and if found guilty, jailed for life.

45's oldest son spoke at the rally and encouraged the storming. 45's oldest daughter called these terrorists 'patriots'.

The Senators and Reps who carried on the sham of trying to overthrow a free and fair election should be forced to resign and charged with sedition.

The terrorists should be handled the same way we were authorized to deal with al Qaeda, which is to say terminate with extreme prejudice. We were always authorized to take out terrorists even when they were 10K km away in the tribal regions of Pakistan, so surely we should be given the same authority when the terrorists are in the Capitol.

ANYONE who supported 45 shares some of the guilt, because this was inevitable and in plain sight to anyone with a modicum of intelligence. No excuse. 45 telegraphed this terrorist behavior for years, and in particular since he was clobbered in a free and fair election.

45 called for this very terrorist action, told them exactly what to do ("we'll never take back our country with weakness"), claimed he was going to march with them, then slinked back into his bunker like the Bone Spurs Coward he has always been.

Disgusting. Shameful.

Yeah, seems like he could have waited a few more days to grow a pair? Mother must have been egging him on?

Posts and replies violating numerous rules have been removed.

We can all recall the arguments from Trump supporters that BLM protestors should face the full force of the law for damaging federal property.

Yes. I have seen that and the interview. I think it is prudent to wait for an official report rather than randos with "knowledge" in a breaking situation. Often people see what they expect to see. Who knows at this point...

A record of 1 and 60 in the courts, at every level, decisions handed down by judges appointed by Democrats and Republicans, even 45, all ruled in favor of democracy and dismissed the silly conspiracy theories promoted by 45 and his captured sycophants.

THERE IS ZERO EVIDENCE of anything other than a free and fair election. 45 is a whining crybaby Narcissist, a liar and fraud, but sadly, he can fool some of the people all of the time.

The results of the Senate runoff in Georgia CONFIRM that the majority of Americans disdain everything 45. 45 lost Georgia in the POTUS election, and he helped two (R) Senators lose the runoff.

Unhappy with being a LOSER, 45 fomented the terrorism the entire world saw on 6 January. He had the support of 12 (R) Senators and 140 (R) House Reps, all of whom show themselves to be unfit for office. If any of them had an ounce of integrity, they would resign and accept responsibility for the carnage they helped cause. Of course there is not an ounce of integrity in any of them, even if they now try to slink away and disassociate themselves with the nonsense. They made that bed, they must sleep in it.

IMHO, one of the biggest problems is Trump and his enablers spouting lies and misinformation.  Which are amplified by the alt-right media outlets.  Voter fraud article were all over Fox News, until the lawsuit.

People seem to be easily manipulated.  Sadly, they fall for these lies.  I don't get it, but it's reality.

There was no fraud.  Some believe there was because this is what they are being told by their political leaders and conservative outlets.  This needs to stop.  If they were told by these people there was no fraud, they'd believe it.
