In nearly 150 years, Electoral College votes have been objected to four separate times, three of which were in the last 20 years and all four times Electoral College votes have been objected by Democrats. What were you saying about "brainwashed sheeple?" okay, i just read through the constitution. i couldn't find the part where "challenging the electors" means you get to form a mob and storm the capital if your guy loses an election bigly. was that one of lesser-known secret amendments? https://www.baynews9.com/fl/tampa/news/2021/01/06/united-states-capitol-lockdown Edited January 7, 2021 by ChouDoufu 2 1 4

Not only has he lost, he's going down in FLAMES! 1

Also, this from CNN: President Trump told people he banned Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff Marc Short from the West Wing today, according to multiple people. Short was seen going into the Eisenhower Executive Office Building Wednesday, which is on the White House campus but is a separate building from the White House and where Pence has his Vice Presidential Office, but Short has otherwise spent the day on the Hill. I'll bet that Marc Short was going around trying to drum up support to invoke the 25th Amendment. https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-news/congress-electoral-college-vote-count-2021/index.html Edited January 7, 2021 by cmarshall 2 1

cmarshall Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 Effort building to remove Trump via 25th Amendment: Members of the House Judiciary Committee are urging Vice President Mike Pence and members from President Trump’s Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to the US Constitution and remove Trump from office, according to a statement released Wednesday night by the committee members. “Even in his video announcement this afternoon, President Trump revealed that he is not mentally sound and is still unable to process and accept the results of the 2020 election. President Trump’s willingness to incite violence and social unrest to overturn the election results by force clearly meet this standard. So too are his recent Tweets, which Twitter has since deleted, saying the election was ‘stolen’ and that today’s riots ‘are the things and events that happen,’” the members said in the statement. https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-news/congress-electoral-college-vote-count-2021/index.html 2

Sometimes called the Twinkie Defense Could be a nice little package to dismiss DT, making Pence #46 for a few days, and he could pardon DT, that poor troubled man, out of kindness for his mental affliction. I don't think DT will like that sentiment but hell, it's a walk, isn't it? On the other hand Pence might let loose the nukes because Jesus told him to. ???? 1

Stargeezr Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 I do believe that a lot of the people who stormed the Capital Hill building will be arrested and charged, because of the people who work there got very affected by today's events,. Joe Biden is the only one who has been saying how this was wrong in so many ways. And Trump did not ever tell his supporters to go home and quit their BS. He continued to say how he was cheated in this election, and therefore, Trump should be held totally responsible for all of todays situation. I think that even Pence will say a few things differently in the future. Geezer 2

spidermike007 Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 Trump is a man of deceit, foul play, a traitor to his nation, and a man so lacking in compassion, character, allegiance, loyalty, kindness, generosity, fidelity, heart and soul. He is morally bankrupt. His ex associates know that. The thousands of small contractors who have sued him for money owed know that. There is no doubt that Trump is the opposite of a patriot, there is no doubt that Trump is a coward and a traitor, who will sell out his nation to despotic dictators, and who will deny aid to faithful allies. Thankfully we have just a few more weeks left of this nonsense and then he will be in gloriously ushered out of Washington to a life of humiliation, a completely radioactive name that nobody in their right mind is ever going to want to touch, and a crumbling mini empire. That is just what he deserves, that is what he's worked hard for and that is something that the world will celebrate. There is no honor in his game. If anyone had a doubt, the call to his hooligans, to march on the capitol, was a reminder of how unpatriotic this man is. Using a false agenda to attack the capitol. Lock him up. The sooner the better. 1

No different. Lots of people in America during that time who sided with the British. All depends on what side of the fence you're on. Or, to put it another way, it's simply a matter of perspective. Granted, one perspective in this case is seriously out of whack. 1776 was about freedom from tyranny and taxation without representation. 2021 is about supporting a fake populist cult leader whose only legislative success was to give tax breaks to the wealthy. A revolution to maintain the status quo is not a revolution. So much false equivalence. So much winning. 6
