Just a very poor excuse to try and save the face of a devious and we take it all when we want nation. Still shameful! Live with it! The rest of the world is opening their eyes.

"No biscuit if you don't risk it." - Wow! A cliché sentence. Great job. Hip way of speaking more USBS. What was the risk with an investment in Covid-19 vaccine? Did you think the demand was going to go down before any profit was made? If so, please don´t try life of business on your own.

You guys put as down at every chance. All your comments on every thread that involves the US , you all have a negative response, And now we should give you our vaccine? If we did not have ours, how much would you give us?

The UK has vaccinated 16 per hundred, and Europe only 3,8 per hundred. How much is the UK sending to the European countries to help them catch up? or are they screwing the EU with the Astra Zenca vaccine because they signed the contract a couple of months earlier?

Didn't you  guys just say to the EU "First come first served"

Nah, what I mean is not that they provide same help. I am just posting about that they just not shut down the distribution, like it seems they have.

They haven't shut down the distribution. It's going ok now. Biden seems to be turning things around.

Yes, that's the point. They want the US to give but show very little reciprocity. Any time that the US manages to get something going better and faster than the Europeans, you can count on some Dog Fuhrer somewhere on the internet getting upset.

Please stay on topic, which isn't about what country posters are from or the origins of their username.

I suspect that the current US administration is going to be helpful in assisting poorer countries in vaccinating their population.  Historically, the US has been behind many international vaccination programs.

If there is one thing we do know, it is that virus do not respect borders.  Defeating the virus means getting as many people vaccinated as possible.

I would be very surprised if every leader of every country would not consider the needs of their own population as a priority.

Not only for altruistic reasons, but because it is to the US advantage that the virus is eradicated around the world. It does no good to eradicate the virus at your country but let it spread unchecked in other countries. With international travel beinwhat it is, it will only comeback to you. But of course the US has to stabilize their country and economy first.

Exactly.  As long as the virus is widely circulating, it is a threat to the US (and every other country).   The cost of the vaccine is pretty reasonable, with Pfizer's cost set at $20, Moderna at between $10 - $50, and Astra Zenica at $4.   These are not particularly onerous costs, especially when compared to the cost of care.   The big question is going to be how long does the vaccine work?
