A famous cave in Krabi that is considered to be a treasure has been ordered closed after social media featured clips of a motocross motorcycle group riding in it.

Ao Leuk district chief Bancha Thanu-in was on the scene with local officials yesterday assessing what damage was made to the cave in the stunt that angered environmentalists and onliners.

It happened at the cave of Tham Toh Luang.

Daily News reported that a local politician was involved in what happened.

disgusting behavior, was just there 2 weeks ago,

Judging by the expensive looking gear they are wearing I wouldn't be surprised if they are fairly well-to-do Thai's rather than a 'gang'.

That looks very much like a Red Bull livery on the bike.

I read a report that a local politician was involved in the event.

So, what's next?  Close down the beach because some idiots left buttprints after sex in the sand?

Rather than deny everyone by closing it down, why not enforce the laws and punish just the guilty?

Post photos and offer 25% of the fine amount for information leading to the idiots.  Anonymous, of course, since a local politician was apparently involved.

Also looks like a #68 on the plate...  point being anyone can stick a sticker on a piece of kit.
