BANGKOK, April 27 (TNA) – The government will receive applications under two domestic tour stimulation programs next month, starting on May 17.

Yuthasak Supasorn, governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, said the third wave of COVID-19 blocked third-phase We Travel Together and Tour Tiew Thai programs from beginning early next month as earlier scheduled.

He said officials finally concluded that the third phase of the We Travel Together program would start to receive reservations on May 17.

TAT should be banned from anything tourist related for at least 3 months.

There is much bigger problems to deal with, and it makes them look like idiots....well, more idiotic than they usually are.

Actually, I think a lot of sensible Thai's will avoid this I do know of a few people have cancelled their trips with a bit of luck this idea will fall flat on it's face

This will make the hotel and airline industries glad that something is being planned for the foreseeable future.

But do they foresee that the people will be a no show, especially after many lost money on bookings as a lot of hotels wouldn't provide refunds, once bitten twice shy as the saying goes.

Maybe they should wait until the Covid-19 numbers are down before coming out with more travel ideas

Look what happened over the Songkran holiday ????

Why let a pandemic stand in the way of profit?

Does this slogan mean, we as in the Thai person and their new friend COVID.   I still think that there

is a pandemic going on, and has Thailand forgot about that FACT already.     Stupid is not curable.
